Everything is delicious! My favorites are… Chicken franchase, chicken milinase, cheese pizza & shrimp scampi. Salads are great too! Staff is always very polite and helpful. It’s a nice place to eat with friends and family

Very good. One of the few places in GA where a New York or New Jersey person can enjoy Italian. not bad at all guys!

We had not been for whatever reasons for over 10 years but at the urging of 2 friends we decided to give it a try. I don’t know why we left! This is incredibly affordable, quality Italian food. The service was quick, attentive and efficient even for a younger staff. The garlic rolls were got and fresh. I had chicken parm with pasta on the side and an order of meatballs. They were a little dry, my only complaint. Wife had chicken marsala and it was cooked to perfection. We also had a Caesar salad. All off this for $ 43! We each had plenty for leftovers. We will be back soon!

Service is good. Wine selection can be better. The food is average. The atmosphere feels not to lively.

Went in for a weekday dinner. The place was crowded for a weekday. We were seated immediately and the server came up immediately. He was new and admitted so. The food we ordered came in reasonable time and the food was good and the portions were manageable. Pro’s: Great service, good food Con’s: None

This is the«Cheers» restaurant where everyone knows your name. Lots of regular customers and usually busy every night. The décor is a little tired and dated. Would like to see them replace the dirty ceiling tiles but I am picky. I love this place for its coziness and would enjoy just having a drink at the bar. The food is tasty and the garlic rolls are amazing! The service can be a little slow so don’t be in a hurry to eat. If so many people keep going back they have to be doing something right!

I’ve eaten at this place a few times. The garlic knots are like pastry puffs and come complimentary. The calzone is good and not greasy. Have also had the pizza and meatball sub — both good. Lastly, the lunch chicken parm. is a LARGE piece of chicken and done well.

It’s convenient. Baked ziti was a plate ziti with a ricotta mixed red sauce, cheese on top, sent through a salamander. It tasted good but we all know that this is not baked ziti. No casserole dish and heavy bake. Slightly overpriced for what it is. Ingredients seem to be quality but arrangement of them is amateur at best. Will eat at again out of convenience and the fact that my son likes the pasta.

I tried Pasta Vino for the first time last night. I ordered my meal to go. It was extremely crowded, mostly with pick up orders. I took the hostess’s suggestion and ordered the Bowie chicken pasta dish with mushrooms and sundried tomatoes. It was delicious! I also ordered a side of the garlic knots. They were not as good — a bit on the dry side. I found it to be a bit pricey only because everything is ala carte. Usually at an Italian restaurant your meal is served with rolls and a salad. Here, you have to pay to get it.

The food is pretty good, but the service is better. I stopped in to grab a quick bite while I was in the area. It wasn’t very busy, but that is probably because they close right after lunch to prepare for dinner. My waitress was super friendly, and the food was prepared in a reasonable amount of time. The chicken parm was okay. The the spicy spaghetti sauce was better. And the garlic knots really are AMAZING.

Still looking for an Italian home in Alpharetta… service was hit or miss — nice server, hapless hostess, invisible manager. Went for an early lunch on a Monday morning. Hostess dropped us at a visibly dirty table, crumbs and oil smears on table and bench. We waited a couple of minutes while everyone walked around us standing there, returned to the hostess and were sat at a clean booth. Salad was nice and crisp, but drenched in a really vinegary house dressing. Spaghetti and meatballs was fine. Ravioli was okay, but slopped on the plate like Fazolis.

I don’t normally give reviews for to-go orders, but I think I’ll start. Still in our work clothes from the yard that day and desperate for Italian food at 8:30pm on a Sunday, we remembered Pasta Vino, which is right around the corner. They don’t deliver, but our order was ready for pick-up in about 20 minutes, even as they were closing. I was impressed. If you want to know the benchmark for any Italian restaurant, order the lasagna; it’ll tell you a number of different things about the way they cook their food. Is every order made from scratch or are they pre-made earlier that day? How good is their basic tomato sauce? Do they care about me or am I just another number? At first, this appeared to be a small portion, but two of us couldn’t finish it. I’d eat it again, but I think I’ll try a couple more menu items before I go back. I ordered the spinach & ricotta ravioli in creamy tomato sauce, which was pretty tasty… the sauce was the real star, though. Those garlic knots didn’t stand a chance with it around. Overall, the food was a good experience; I can’t wait to actually visit!

I wanted this place to be really good, especially since it is battling its location inside a dead shopping center. I have had this place recommended to me in the past with the phrase«go for the food not the atmosphere», which is fine, I go to restaurants for the food. For around 15 dollars an entrée and a mediocre atmosphere I thought this place would be really good. I was disappointed that my food was as middle of the road as the décor. If this place isn’t going to deliver on the food at 15 dollars a plate it should at least deliver on atmosphere. I had a calzone, it wasn’t particularly warm, room temperature on the inside. Would not recommend. Others had chicken parm and it looked okay, middle of the road they said. One had a chicken ceasar and said it was awful — overcooked chicken.

I first want to say that I will go back and give it another shot. The food was good… Not Great but good. The garlic rolls were average at best. I have had much better. The marinara on the spaghetti side was really good. My girlfriend had Chicken Piccata and it was very tasty. I had Veal Sorrentino and it was really tasty as well. Portions were good. For an Italian place you would think the wine selection would be better. The wine by the glass menu is very limited. The hostess was great, our server was friendly but lacked personality. At one point he disappeared for a while. On a side note, the place doesn’t have any personality or ambience. The bar side where we sat in a booth had unpainted chair rail and light wood decorative windows between the bar are and lobby. There were also several sheetrock repair spots on the walls in the bar side that need to be fixed.

I’ll start by saying the garlic rolls are outstanding! they start you off with a plate of them and by the end of the meal you’ve had at least 3 more plates! I had the pizza rolls; an appetizer(however it filled me up quickly) that is basically the garlic rolls with pepperoni and cheese inside! A boat of marinara is included, of course. ;) Long story short, it was a fantastic meal! I went with my mom, brother and my grandparents and we had a tasteful trip towards tongue tranquility! Hope to come again, next time, more hungry.

I don’t know why I haven’t Unilocaled Pasta Vino before today, I’ve been dozens of times. I really like the place but I’m conflicted. Its very hit or miss. You can go in on a Friday evening and the place will be deserted but you can go on a weeknight and it’ll be crazy full. When we first started coming here I really enjoyed it. The garlic knots were gooey, garlicky and yummy beyond belief. The food was top-notch and the service not stellar, but acceptable. Something has happened over the last 6 – 8 months but I can’t quite put my finger on it. The garlic knots are hard and kind of flavorless, not as good as they used to be. I was disappointed that one of my favorite salads, the spinach/strawberry had been replaced by the spinach/cranberry due to financial reasons. Its much cheaper to serve dried cranberries than fresh strawberries but a disappointment nonetheless. The calamari was super chewy. The food overall just doesn’t taste as good as it use to and service, which has never been their strong point, has suffered. Now it seems there are more employees standing around than serving. Last Friday evening, for instance there were 3 people working as hosts, 3 people standing outside the kitchen(managers?) talking to each other and watching the place our entire meal. This is while our server, Megan, was busting hump taking care of us and it looked like she was taking care of most all the tables in the restaurant. It was not busy at all for a Friday but food was taking twice as long to come out as normal. Several tables complained. The lone bartender was just as busy as Megan. By no stretch of the imagination am I a restaurant expert but 6 people standing while 2 or 3 are overworked is bad math. I’m thinking if the manager is not allowed to run food or bus tables that rather than standing in one spot all evening perhaps he/she could refill drinks or just circle the room and introduce himself and welcome diners. I really used to love this place and due to my lack of reviewing them in better days I’m giving them 3 stars. We will keep dining here, hopefully things will go back to normal soon, I’ll keep you posted.

It’s amazing how a city or a neighborhood can evolve over time, and what can happen to businesses in those areas. The Grand Pavilion(if it is still named that) was going to be one of the original«live upstairs, work/play downstairs» shopping centers that had high hopes. And then the original Meehan’s closed. Shortly after, it seemed like everything else did. My neighbors were awesome enough to invite me out to dinner this weekend, and I got to pick. I couldn’t eat meat since it was Friday during Lent, and I wanted to go to a place I have not been to. Apparently this place has been open for YEARS, but I keep forgetting about it since it IS located in a ghost town. I still hope one day this shopping center will be restored to its former potential glory. My mom was pissed when I was wearing my camo coat(«this place is nice, go wear a sweater I got you for Christmas») — and I pointed out the guy wearing his unzipped jogging pants walking in with his daughter. It does looks however very nice and high end from the outside. I really like the dark woods, the heavy door, and the unique planters out front on the decent sized patio. When you walk in, you will be surprised that it looks completely different than how it appears out side. There are 3 decent size rooms, an open kitchen, and looks like furniture made from pine. However, the bar back flows like outside. Is this bad? Not necessarily, just caught me off guard. The menu is of decent size, and they do sell coke products. Believe it or not, I stuck with drinking ginger ale. I also ordered some garlic knots, and a plain ol spaghetti n marinara, with a Caesar. Bread came with the table, but I didn’t try any, only the garlic knots. They were actually pretty decent. The salad was ok, nothing to really write home about. As I was sitting there enjoying convo with my neighbors, i noticed the TV in the corner– I was cringing as I could see my brackets crumble before my eyes. How distracting! The food then came out, it was standard spaghetti(hot as hell). The sauce was on the chunkier side, but tasted fresh. That was a good thing. I sprinkled some cheese on it, and did my best. I left about 2 bites in the dish. Then it was dessert time– I decided to get a tiramisu. It wasn’t bad, and thankfully not as rich as usual. It was however, a huge slice. Our server was very busy throughout the night, but he stayed on top of his shit, he did well. I think his name was Kyle. I could tell he had a lot of tables– but we never felt ignored. That was really nice. I know this say 3 stars, but I would like to give it just under 4 stars. I would love to come back on a night where I can try some of those meat dishes, I will be more than likely to upgrade my review.
