Nooooooo!!! I am so sad this place is closed. Their pizza and salads were SOOO good!

Closed! Went by there last night(12⁄11) and it was empty and closed. Too bad as it was a great pizza. The suburbs lack the unique and quality pizza and this place was it for the Johns Creek area.

I love this pizza — and the eggplant parm… OMG!!! Lots of cheese. Lots of yum. This New Yorker knows — eat at Rosa’s!

Now this is good pizza. Husband and I ordered take-out from here recently and it definitely made up for the lacklustre experience we had at another local pizza establishment. The crust was perfect, the sauce was in just the right proportion to the rest of the pie(and had a little kick), the cheese was delicious, and the pepperoni was thin and tasty. Overall, just really great. We will definitely order from Rosa’s again.

After a quick look-through at the Goodwill store down the street, my wife and I decided to wait out the traffic by having dinner at this place. We’ve been by here dozens of times but always scooted by it because it’s awkwardly located adjacent to an intersection where northbound traffic is always kind of dicey and demands full driver attention. That said, we walked into a semi-empty(Tues. pm) place, but that changed by 6pm. We were ready to enjoy the tastes previous reviewers alluded to, ordering a mushroom, ground beef, black olives, sliced tomatoes(what– no artichoke hearts?) medium pie. Twenty minutes later, we were served. My first impression was a good looking pie. Heel was nicely puffed, with a little char, but a little dry. Cheese was good and stringy, and ingredients were nicely distributed. The sauce: what sauce? A little was daubed here and there, but the effect was a fairly dry pie which only tasted of toppings. Now, at this point, what does a diner do? The place had filled up with young families and the wait staff were running. Complain about the pie, resulting in another wait for a replacement which I was no longer hungry for? Nah– I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt, and hold it at 3 stars.

Best pizza I have found in these parts and gives me hope that I won’t still longing for the pizza I left behind in the north east.

Just like downtown, only MUCH more suited to Johns Creek… I’m looking at you, wall of colored pictures by the bathrooms. It’s weird because the menu looks exactly the same, but when you walk up to the counter you don’t have to immediately shout an order over some glass. Of course, it helps that unlike Rosa’s downtown, this place is pretty empty… could have just been our 2pm Saturday lunch. You order at the counter and pay, then take a seat. They bring the pizza to you, and it does take longer than downtown… but you get to sit and not be cramped! The dining area is pretty spacious with both tables and booths, plus lots of TVs. There is also a bar, and they have at least half a dozen beers on tap, plus some in bottles and also wine. It’s awesome that they too have the greatest lunch special of all: 21-topping slices and a drink for $ 6, tax included. The pizza tastes exactly the same, and it’s still the topping heavy big slices of deliciousness. So now when I finally graduate from GSU and have my gigantic house out in Johns Creek, I can take my Porsche and 3 kids over to have the same pizza from my cheap student days without ever having to go ITP. It’s perfect.

I hope this place makes it. A couple decent places have come and went in this location but none were as good as this place. Great pizza, terrific salads and decent prices. If you want a terrific piece of pizza head here.

Coming from NY/NJ I have been trying to find a pie close enough to make me forget how much I missed good Italian fare. Finally found it here. Pain to get to from my house on Friday night but I would put up with the traffic to get there. Nice, noisy sports bar feel to it, no fear bringing the whole gang here.

I often went to the downtown location while in graduate school at Georgia State. So when I found out this new location opened in the Alpharetta/Johns Creek area near my work, I knew I had to check it out. If you are familiar with the downtown location, you’ll notice the atmosphere of this one is completely different. This location has a cartoony franchise-looking sign. It’s located in a fairly dead strip mall. It has tons of free parking. It has a bar and a big dining room with 7HDTV’s. So in other words, it’s been totally suburban-ized. The great news is, the pizza is still great. The cheese and sauce are of a high quality. And you can’t beat the lunch special– $ 6 gets you two one-topping slices and a drink. You order at the counter and they bring you your food. Or you can sit at the bar and order from the bartender.
