I purchased a Groupon for Partial Highlights, color blending toner, and conditioning treatment.
First let me say that the actual cut and highlights were fine. The stylist, Sanja, was nice.
However, when completing the initial consultation, she gave me crap for using the Groupon. She said that a cut was not included. I knew this beforehand and was fine with it. A haircut is $ 50. Then she told me that she could only retouch highlights instead of doing the «Partial highlights» that I purchased. This did not work for me since I didn’t have existing highlights to retouch and the Groupon said nothing about just a retouch. She told me to read the fine print. Of course I did prior to purchasing the Groupon.
We were going back and forth about the fine print for 5 – 10 minutes so I pulled it up and showed her the deal on the Groupon app and sure enough, I was right. After that, she went to front desk and talked to the receptionist. The receptionist came over and looked at my shoulder length hair and said it was okay to proceed since my hair wasn’t that long.
This whole ordeal was such a pain. Although the actual service was fine, I will NEVER go back.
Salon Via, don’t advertise on Groupon if you don’t want to honor it.

Went today for my first time. The salon is comfortable and modern. David was my stylist and did a really great job. He cut nearly 4 inches of my hair and completed an all over color, evening out the shades from several home dye jobs, and giving it great color. He was respectful of my time and did a great job. Very personable, professional, and knowledgable. I definitely recommend.

I used a Living Social to get a cut and color from the owner Gus. The atmosphere is modern and the staff is nice. However… my cut is completey crooked and uneven — and my color is super streaky and unnatural looking. Such a bummer when you think you are going to get the best from the owner.

For the past year or so I have been letting my sister-​in-​law «practice» on my hair while she completed cosmetology school. She is just getting the hang of it, but needless to say my hair was in serious need of a color correction!!! Gus and Samantha worked on my hair! I had a great experience! They worked together to figure out the best way to correct the color. Samantha did the color correction and Gus did the toner and the cut… I know it sounds very simple, but the truth is my hair, while very healthy, needed to help in the color category!!! They are both very nice and down to earth! I would absolutely recommend going to Salon Via and if possible having Gus do your hair cut!
