We eat here fairly often because it’s in the same shopping center as my kid’s swimming lessons, and we’ve always liked the food. Tonight, however, we were joined at the table by none other than La Cucaracha(aka a cockroach…). This ballsy little fella crawled all over the table while my husband tried(unsuccessfully) to smash it. Eventually, the little effer managed to give us the slip, and we spent all of dinner cautiously poking through our food and peering under plates lest La Cucaracha attempt to come back to share our meal. We mentioned the roach to our waiter; he said«Thanks for letting me know. Sorry about that.» That was it. No shock or horror. Like this happens all the time. I love this place, but I’m not sure I can come back knowing that La Cucaracha will surely make another brazen attempt to join us for dinner.

When a roach joins you for dinner, it brings the meal to a quick end. Food here is ok and the staff is great… But little critters walking across the table is enough to make your stomach turn.

What? Just take my money. I loved the food and atmosphere. The service was great, food had good quality and has a big menu. If you go with like 5 to 6 people, get the round booth. It’s a good time with friends.

Visited for an impromptu dinner a week or so ago while my daughter was at dance class nearby. We didn’t have much time before we had to return to pick her up so we opted to sit at the bar. Service was friendly and attentive. They offered fresh chips and salsa, and get this — we each had our own salsa dipping bowl! Double dip to your hearts content here!!! Food was fresh and delicious. Will definitely return next time I an nearby and craving Mexican.

Arrived last night for a quick dinner. Plenty of tables open but we had to wait for 20 minutes for a table. Then waited another ten. No waiter. We left.

Solid Mexican food for an area that lacks good Mexican food. Fish Tacos, were ok. Steak fajitas were solid, I still have not tested the margaritas.

Delicious! Very nice atmosphere and the food was great. I had the best pollo asado of my life. Can’t wait to come back!

Brought my best friend here for her Birthday. She chose the establishment — I had never before heard of them. I called 4 hours in advance to let them know I would like to surprise my friend with a birthday cake and candles. The hostess eagerly took my name and friend’s name. She told me they would be sure to make it a surprise. When I arrived I was very pleased that as promised, the hostess had written down the information I gave her. Our fabulous waiter(wish I could remember his name), was already aware of the occasion. He was incredible! The service was prompt, friendly, and perfect! The food was fresh and delicious. My friend was definitely surprised, when after our meal, the entire staff appeared with her birthday cake and candles, while singing Happy Birthday! We had a fantastic time and will definitely return :-)

I’d probably starve to death without their burrito asada once or twice a week. Great food, excellent service, reasonable prices.

I didn’t have high hopes for this place as there have been several restaurants that have failed in this location. Glad I was proven wrong! Excellent service! That has been consistent now for the three times I’ve been there. Just excellent! Happy attentive and friendly servers… and EVERYTIME the manager has checked in on us. He’s awesome and knows what great service is all about. The food is a little pricey for Mexican IMO, but everything I’ve ordered has been delish and interesting! I’ll pay the $ for an awesome dining experience here. The drinks!!! Holy moly! Their margarita menu is out of this world. I always want to try them all! But I’d prefer not crawling out of the place. Maybe offer a margarita flight so I can try as many as I can without passing out. ;) We will be back!

This place is right outside our neighborhood. We eat there at times for convenience. It’s OK. It won’t knock your socks off. If I really want good Mexican food, I don’t go here. The placed changed ownership. The atmosphere is the same and food is a little different. If you are just going to drink, than you may like it.

Our home away from home! We always receive the best service! Karina & Hugo & Tony are our favorites! The food and service keeps us coming back! We enjoy the family friendly environment, yummy margaritas, incredible staff and fast service! We wouldn’t think of going anywhere else in the area for Mexican food!

OK, the service might be a little slow and the music a little loud… but the food is so tasty!!! And the portions are huge! And their prices are so reasonable. I’ve been to Señor Patrón a few times since I moved to the area and I’m very pleased, so I’m adding it to my neighborhood favorites for a casual dining experience.

I had very low expectations for this place. From the outside, it looks like your quintessential strip mall suburbia Americanized Mexican restaurant. And perhaps my first impression was right — the dining experience was extremely average — but the food was damn good. The salsa they gave us to start was surprisingly flavorful with just a little kick, and the chips were fried to perfection. I ordered the Patron Salad with steak in an attempt to be somewhat healthy(it was the day after Thanksgiving, after all) and although it was far from healthy, it was delicious. The steak was great, the avocado was fresh, and the bacon bits and cheese really brought the whole thing together. While I’m sure my salad packed in more calories than my boyfriend’s burrito, I don’t regret a minute of it. Although Señor Patron isn’t anything to write home about, I was pleasantly surprised, and would be more than happy to return during my next visit to Johns Creek.

Plenty of seating and parking for this place. Service was decent. The drink list is impressive which is nice. They have a bar with TVs if that’s your thing. Food was pretty good, but the cheese quesadilla could have used cheese actually extending to the end of the tortilla. I mean, it costs like 30 cents to make and you charge like 6 bucks, I think you can spare some more cheese. The rest of the evening my clothes, and thus I, smelled like Mexican food. Which may or may not make you/your partner happy.

Wanted to go out. I slept most of the day away, catching up on what I missed out on most of the week thanks to office problems that I had to deal with preventing me from doing anything productive. WILLYOUSHUTUP!!! Sorry. The Costa Rica v. Greece World Cup match is on and an overactive Greek fan is sitting next to me. Anyway, I decided to go out and grab a bite before going back to my place and crashing again and ended up landing at Señor Patron’s; a place I pass back and forth everyday at work. OKPAPADOPOLOUS, I GETIT!!! GREECEHAS A SOCCERTEAM!!! TONEITDOWN!!! I wasn’t really in the mood for anything specific, so I figured that a taco would suffice. I was never here when it was Chepes, which I had never heard anything good. My initial feeling was that these guys simply changed the name to defer any sanitation issues that probably arose in the past. After speaking with my waitress, that wasn’t the case. I don’t know what the décor was prior to my arrival, but the place had a pretty cool feel to it. I received a menu and there were at least 20 different things I wanted to order and landed on the Patron Dip, a queso with sausage and shrimp. Excellent. LISTENDUDE. I’M ABOUT5SECONDSAWAYFROMTEARINGTHATUNIBROWOFFOFYOURFACE!!! Anyway, the food was really good… THAT’S IT. YOUASKEDFORIT!!!
