Come here literally every single weekend. Food is fresh, various selection of seasoning, favorite snacks all around. Most items are tagged with reasonable prices. Wouldn’t come here if I don’t like it in the first place. FYI, it’s really cold here so make sure keep yourself warm lol

Fruit and veggies are good, but it stops there. The place always smells. Very pricey

Bought fish and seafood to cook and celebrate Mother’s day. Found hundreds of parasitic worms crawling around the food while we were eating. Went back to the store to report but it appeared they don’t speak English and treated matter very lightly. Consumers be aware!

Not a big fan of H Mart but had to get something quick and this was the place. While I got what I wanted, I also picked up a bag of Cherries for $ 1.99! Except for what were visible all the Cherries had fungus on it. Everything went in the trash! Bloody crooks!

Love this place. The fish market is not as big as some of the other locations. Of course a box lunch here is awesome! Today was short-ribs!!!

I also agree with previous reviewers that this place is unfriendly and dirty. It is very unkept and the workers could care less. Big language barrier also, hard to understand them. Also they have a restaurant sit down area but no high chairs. Overall… meh

I just had a cashier refuse to sell me clams because they weren’t priced. No assistance just, and I quote, «I can’t sell them to you» it’s the main reason I went but I won’t be back.

Probably never again. I might check out the Pleasant Hill location in hopes that it’s a little more pleasant, no pun intended, but I’m in no hurry. I was trying to decide whether I was going to be brutally honest or forgiving in my review. As I got in the car, though, the first words out of my mouth were«well that was unpleasant,» so I decided I found my answer. I went today because it was Sunday around noon and I wanted to go explore something different than I am used to. My first impression was the storefront. Every other business in the strip was clean and swept. There was trash strewn all over the place in front of Super H. Plastic bags, debris of all kinds. It looked filthy from the get-go. I picked up a little produce — enough to get me through the week — at awesome prices. It was hit or miss. Some items looked really good, while I definitely skipped over others for lack of freshness. The next thing I noticed was how unfriendly everyone I encountered was — both employees and customers. If you are looking for a pleasant, welcoming, inviting shopping experience, this is certainly not it. I was trying to maneuver my cart through narrow spaces, and no one seemed too concerned about my mere existence. There were a ton of samples(that was a plus — enjoyed trying new stuff), and the only friendly employee was the one giving out ice cream samples. I bought some green tea ice cream — I like friendly people. I *was* amazed at the ribeye I picked up — $ 5.50/lb. I bought 2 ribeyes at about 2 pounds total. As a steak lover, I was so excited about this find. You get what you pay for, though. We cooked them up — grilled them medium rare — and they were tough as rubber and absolutely flavorless. My son said«I really am trying to eat the steak, but I have been chewing this same piece for the last 5 minutes.» I have never, EVER left steak uneaten(usually I’m stealing everyone else’s leftovers), but I was only able to get about halfway through my portion. General cleanliness was subpar. I enjoyed looking at stuff that’s completely unfamiliar to me, marveling at all the possibilities. It’s definitely a great place to go for Asian ingredients that you can’t get in American chain stores. However, unless I am in dire need of one of those ingredients, I’m sticking to Publix where people return my smiles.

I am a fan of this grocery store. It is very large and has strong depth and variety — I can spend 20 minutes just looking that the soy sauces and marinades. On the plus side is that the produce is a value versus traditional grocery stores. The location is busy so everything turns pretty fast. No issues with buying meat or seafood here either. Search out the import section near the back left hand side where you can find Russian, German and other Euro specialties.

This H Mart is closer than any of the others to our house, so we come here the most often. Sadly, though, it does not have the fresh kimchi bar nor the in-house dduk(rice cakes), so the major appeal of the Duluth location remains with the amount of fresher products available. However, driving that additional distance into Gwinnett is rarely worth it for us these days, so we’ve contented ourselves with getting great fresh fruit and other condiments here. The coupons and Ka Kao Talk app both help bring prices down, as does the shopper card, so I would definitely encourage anyone who shops here frequently to look into those to help bring costs even lower. I just wish there was an H Mart in Cherokee county!

Absolutely love this place. You can find everything in the store for the Asian cook. And they have the best produce– I go there at least once a month and stock up. When we go, we always stay for lunch. I get the Bento Special Box with spicy pork– I think it’s the best Asian food in the burbs. My husband has had several of the soups and has loved everything. Fresh, hot, healthy and served with a smile. One of my favorites in the city.

I’M BACK! For a while, I stopped frequenting this store because of the quality of the produce. However, during recent visits I have noticed that the quality of the produce is much improved. I only purchase produce here as I have found the meats questionable at times and I think that the packaged items are higher than necessary. The primary items that I purchase here are Asian greens,(gai lan and pak choy), fresh spinach and Swiss chard. I am so over southern greens because I am tired of driving«cross country» to get quality collards and not being able to find turnip or mustard varieties. The great advantage of buying Asian greens is that they are convenient for me to purchase, they are relatively clean and they cook super fast! I can actually complete my stir fry/dinner in 10 minutes using these greens. I also like to purchase my green leaf lettuce, fruit, spaghetti squash and yams here. The prices are not always consistent so just be aware. I really love their Soonyeowon firm tofu. Avoid the House Foods brand of tofu as it has an odd taste and is unappetizing. If you are trying to make better choices regarding your diet, H-Mart is a great resource!

This H-mart has a small food court inside where i tried BimbiBap for the very first time and its darn good. Simple — delicious — filling and HEALTHY. Vegetables were sliced up pretty neat and seasoned very good. This store has a wide food collection veg and non veg. Fresh sea food is what its famous for. I often buy fresh Tilapia n salmon.

Yep! Hiking it up to 5 stars! Brought Ralph back with me today and made a pretty large purchase for $ 35 bucks!!! They had samples on our Sunday visit which was AWESOME!!! Going back next week to see Michelle, the super sweet helpful lady making the meat marinated items(pork and beef) both DELISH!

Very cool place to check out if you’re in the area. We decided to stop by Super H Mart after our dinner Sunday evening. Really nice that they stay open so late even on a Sunday. When we walked in, the first thing we notice is this little shop to the right of the doors. I just looked around at hello kitty bags but didn’t get anything. My friends bought these phone straps/keychains… When I saw them later I was jealous and wanted one but it was too late to purchase one. Anyway we ended up wandering all over the store, pretty much up and down every aisle. I didn’t plan to buy anything, but wound up with my arms loaded with random goodies such as green tea kitkats, rice seasoning, sake, and more… If I’m in the area again I would definitely stop by… they carry items you wouldn’t find in a normal grocery store and then some. Very glad we wandered in here!

Well, is as good as I expected on my Journey through Johns Creek. Friday so me and coworkers decided on lunch(If haven’t noticed, these guys eat out everyday, LOL) and after some debate, we ended up at H-Mart. I’m extremely familiar to the one off Pleasant Hill, but since I pass this one every day i wanted to check it out anyways. Its smaller, clean and less crowded. But anywho, food. Decided on the Bulgogi Bento Box for me, and it was delicious, my box was empty by the time I got done with it… did not have a chance! My co worker had some Mongolian Beef and he had the same experience, deliciousness. Its a must got for sure, and I’m positive we will be coming back regularly.

Johns Creek Super H Mart looks like any other Super H Mart out there. The only difference is it’s smaller. It’s almost like a Publix size. Still, you can get your Asian foods here. I don’t think you can find as much selection as the other, bigger locations. They still have their food court near the entrance of their store. Near the exit, they have a small bakery as well. So it’s like your huge H-Mart but shrunk.

I simply love this place! The food is fresh & they carry many international brands not found at traditional grocery stores. In addition to this, they have a food court that includes foods from Asian countries. The sushi is always my favorite!
