The doctor was very nice she took her time and addressed my needs. You should always research the monthly memberships before purchasing. The location is perfect and I appreciate how quickly you can get in and get out.

What a waste of my money! I think I have only been adjusted one time on several visits. I would cancel immediately if I could! WARNING to you all — Do Not Sign Up For A Membership Until You Have Gone Home And Thought About It! Once I am done with these people I will rewrite this with a complete more detailed review. One ting for certain is that it will not be complimentary in any form or fashion! You Have Been Warned!

Beware! Dishonest company. Do not sign up with them. I’ll try to make this as short and succinct as I am capable of. I recently moved and strained my back, since I was new to the area I didn’t have a chiropractic office established and I thought I would try out The Joint since I read it was no appointment required. I went in clearly in pain and asked if they take insurance. I was told no but the prices were reasonable. The chiropractor saw me and spent a few minutes cracking my back and that was it. I was surprised there were no x-rays or the delightful roller bed machine, just an adjusting table and a few adjusting cracks. I was still hurting and the chiro told me I would need many more visits before I felt recovery. I’m sure that is true, although I think my problem was more muscular and time would help anyway. When I went to check out, the receptionist told me I need to sign up for a membership. I was never offered the option for one visit or one month, I was told I had to sign up for 6 months and but I could cancel at anytime after paying the cancellation fee which is one month. I wasn’t thrilled about that, but I very specifically remember thinking that if I start to feel better than paying for one month to cancel is not a big deal. A few weeks later, after a few visits here and many home remedies and wonderful yoga stretches — I felt fine again. And after 2 months of not stopping in once, I decided I need to cancel. Here is where it went SHADY. I called and spoke to the exact same gal who signed me up. But this time, she told me there is no way to cancel. I just have to keep making the payments, nothing I can do. And, she added it will automatically re-enroll me unless I go in and sign paperwork 30 days before the end of my contract. Why was I told cancel at anytime at sign up, but then told that’s impossible? I really, really do no appreciate being lied to. It’s unethical and not the way to run a business. And I’m very mad at myself that I didn’t read reviews from other locations of The Joint before going, because this seems to be a common theme. And while the chiropractor was a perfectly nice guy, I’m so upset about this that I don’t want to have another adjustment there even though I will be paying for a few more months. Meanwhile, I found a great chiropractic office to go to if I ever want to have an adjustment with the bells and whistles. And my insurance covers it! Lesson learned, but I’m not thrilled that my welcome to the neighborhood was getting scammed!
