Huemann Water Conditioning

I moved into a house that was built in 1955 that had a well with a Kinetico Water Conditioning System in it. I was unfamiliar with wells and called Huemann Water Conditioning in the hope that I would be able to get some information in addition to an evaluation, as I knew the system was quite old and would probably need replacing. From the initial contact this company was exceptional to work with. The ladies who answered the phone and took my initial calls were Linda and Kim. They could not have been any friendlier, helpful and more professional. They took all my information and told me I would receive a call back shortly to discuss my needs. I received a call back within an hour and made an appointment to have someone come out and check out my system, explain the maintenance and talk to me about possibly replacing and updating the older system. A man named Josh came out within a few days, exactly as promised. He was very prompt, helpful, professional and took extra time to explain the well system as well as the Kinetico Water Conditioning System. He was very patient with my endless questions and concerns and was not at all pushy as far as trying to sell me any equipment. I decided that since my system was so old it was time to update it. Josh spent a great deal of time with me and I never felt rushed. At this time I also decided to add a reverse osmosis drinking water system to my home, as well as replacing a 22 year old hot water heater inside my home. Josh even took pictures in the well of my current Kinetico Water Conditioning System to make it easier to plan for the new installation and ensure that it was installed in the most efficient manner possible within the confined available space in my well. He went back to the company to meet and discuss the installation of the system. I soon received a follow-​up call from Joe Huemann to discuss the system and work I wanted done. I also spoke with Kurt from the company and he explained more details and pricing for the entire job. It was obvious that they had put a great deal of thought and planning into this job to ensure it was done in the best manner possible. A date was scheduled and they came out and completed the work exactly as planned. They sent out 3 men, Reggie, Steve and Scott. All 3 of them were friendly and very helpful and really took the time to explain every aspect of the installation and made sure I understood everything they did. They completed the job and I felt very comfortable with their work and the price was very fair for the great amount of work that they completed.
I cannot make enough positive comments about this company. They have been the best company that I have worked with in decades. They are an exceptional, company with old fashioned values such as honesty, integrity, and pride in their work which is difficult to find in many companies nowadays. I called the company several times with questions and concerns before they came out to complete the job and always received prompt call backs and they took the time to make sure I was comfortable and understood every step of the process. I have never worked with a company with such a quick response time regarding call backs and they always patiently answered all my questions. They were always on time and never late for any appointments and even called to confirm before they came out to my home. Their communication and punctuality was outstanding.
You can’t go wrong if you decide to use this unbelievable company as they are an exceptional, hard working, honest group of friendly people who really go «above and beyond» in every aspect of their jobs. This is how all companies should be! I highly recommend Huemann Water Conditioning as a top notch company and only wish their was a higher rating that I could give them besides and A+.

The delivery service is the best and you cannot beat the price. Every one of their crews that have been out to deliver are super nice and courteous — they make needing salt for the system not such a huge ordeal. My husband especially appreciates them.

Josh set up our water softener system in April 2015. His analysis of the need, materials needed, and time the job would take was spot on. He used virtually all existing materials he could to create an efficient water treatment system. He even spent some time with me afterwards to teach me how the water softener works, even though I did not purchase the machine through Huemann. Cost was better than any other plumbers out there. They have a great history of serving the McHenry County area, and that continues to date. Highly recommend the company and Josh personally as a plumber.

We recently moved out to the country (Barrington from Chicago) and bought a house with a well. After suffering with smelly, discolored and bad tasting water, we called Huemann Water to see what they could do. Long story short… we have delicious, wonderful water for a reasonable price. Chris came out, assessed our needs and got us set up with a great system! He was incredibly nice, helpful and trustworthy. Within a few a days a tech came out and did the installation. The tech was also very nice and professional. He even helped catch my dog in the snow when he ran out the door!

I have used Huemann Water Conditioning twice in the past few years. I can tell you they are the most honest business I’ve ever worked with. They will gladly service existing equipment without trying to sell you something newer and more expensive. They’ve even done trouble shooting over the phone. Joe is great to talk to and extremely professional. I will never consider using anyone else for my water conditioning needs. Ever.

I thought my water softener was broken so I called Culligan to come out to my house and take a look at my unit. Culligan charged me to come out to my house and after taking a brief look at my softener told me I needed to buy a new one. They quoted me $ 1500 for a new softener and charged me $ 150 for the service call. I then called Angel Water in Barrington, they too told me I needed a new softener and quoted me $ 1300. I finally called Huemann Water. A service tech came out to my house, took a look at my softener, and for less than $ 100 in parts fixed my softener and brought it back to life!
The team over at Huemann Water are a genuine group of professionals who know their trade well. They don’t try to sell you new and expensive equipment if you don’t need it, rather they present you with all the options you have available and let you make the choice.
The owner Joe Huemann has even personally come out to my house to calibrate my water softener when I thought it wasn’t working right.
Overall, you won’t find a better group of pros, that go far beyond what you could ever expect, to deliver excellent service at excellent prices.

A family run business that provides great service and great products. They are going to be my only call for any well /​plumbing needs.
