I from out of town and I needed a haircut. I saw that this place had the best reviews and it was pretty accurate. The outside was pretty sketchy but the inside was a traditional barber shop. I was a little nervous bc I saw how short the haircuts were for the ppl before me. However, the barber that assisted me did exactly what I asked and it was great! Awesome cut for only $ 13.

First time I went today. I’m a girl, but I keep my hair short. They did a great job … a lot of times other places have done the sides up to far to the top of my hair, but they did it right. The fade came out real nice and all details were paid attention to. Def coming back, best barber shop I’ve been to in bing.

New York Styles is my go-to barbershop for when I’m looking to chop off the locks for a coiffe that’s cooler and easier to manage. I think you’d be hard pressed to find a barbershop/salon in town that spends as much time as these guys do on your hair. The place doesn’t look all that great from the outside, nor does it look much better from the inside. The good news is, they’re remodeling. They just put in wood paneling on one wall with all new barber stations. When you sit down in one of the old barber chairs and start to have a conversation with the guys, you’ll know you’ve arrived at the right place. A cut is typically between $ 10-$ 12 but may vary depending on the barber and how long it takes(e.g. if you want a shave, too, it’s obviously going to cost more). If you show up on a Wednesday, though, you’ll find it’s only $ 7 per cut. I use this opportunity to tip a little extra since it would have cost me more anywhere else. When I go, I typically get a fade with ¼-inch on top and down to the skin on the sides with an edge up. A little spray and you’re out the door.
