I have been here many times over the years. The best thing in the place was the sweet tea. The food was good especially since they are usually a campus hangout not going after the business crowd. My favorites were the nachos and the Canadian Mountie. I would not make a special trip to Poor Richard’s but if you are in the area, it is worth a stop.

I stopped by here during a shirt stay at the Carnegie. It was a quick walk, maybe about 10 minutes. The place doesn’t look like much from the outside and it seems they have outdoor seating if it’s nice out. On the inside the place is pretty roomy with ample seating for groups or individuals. They have beer on tap with about 8 to choose from a well as some beer specials. It looks like the place turns into a hangout place with a small stage set up in the back. Overall, the place seemed pretty clean and the staff was nice. I ordered the«Our Hoagie» and the nachos with chili and jalapenos. The food was pretty good. The hoagie didn’t look very nice when it came out but it had good flavor, the bread was soft and fresh as well as the ingredients. The nachos were also pretty good, although by the time I finished them off, the were a little cold. I think the place is definitely a good stop if you’re looking for quick cheap deli style food. Also, if you’re looking for a place to get a few drinks after class it’s a winner too! Enjoy!

I have now been here for 1 hour and a half and there are three of us. One got her food after an hour and 10 mins, mine came 10 mins later, one still hasn’t gotten her food. Ridiculous!!! Update: managers finally came out and set things right, still a bad experience but at least the finally took done responsibility. I’ll probably give them one more chance before writing them off completely.
