Poor Richards has gone through quite a few changes over the years is on the move again. After taking on the name Uptown Deli for a while it is back to Poor Richard’s Uptown but has moved near to ETSU off of State of Franklin — I have posted a review under that location. My main complaint about this location was the wait time for sandwiches and the many times spotty services but they do serve up a mean sandwich.

Maybe a tad pricey but VERY good. Tasted the wife’s and the daughter’s sandwich while there. All 3 sandwiches were great.

They charge extra for everything including lettuce. Bring your own condiments. New name is Fresh Deli and I would never go back.

Its called Fresh Deli now but everything is still the same. The Ham Hero is probably the best sandwich I’ve had. Can be busy at lunch but its worth it.
