Unicorn Electronics

I do not know what I would do if it were not for this place. They cover almost everything electronic. Computer parts to individual electronic components you can find them there. They have a very knowledgeable staff that is always friendly. I like how they take care of all their customers. Even the frustrated ones who don’t know what this computer wire does to that thing over there. They manage to sort it out and get the customer what he or she needs.

So glad that this place is still around. As an undergrad at BU’94 this place was the only place to get electronic parts. I went at least once a month to look through the misc. parts bins.

As every engineering student at BU and BCC knows, this is probably the best (if not the only) place in Greater Binghamton to buy electronics parts. Ya, we have radio shack… but lets face it, they suck. Anyways, they have a very large selection of parts, resistors, transistors, capacitors, switches, kits, etc. and if they don’t have it they can special order it for you at no charge (and they have for me on many occasions). They also have a great deal of computer equipment and are probably one of the only places (again) to get things like serial ports expanders, internal card readers, etc. I have looked at Worst Buy and Failmart but they never have anything useful. They also have a great selection of video cards and other computer accessories that the more average Joe might need.
