Wok & Hibachi

Awesome Lunch specials which start at $ 5.95 and come with a LARGE portion. We both ate for $ 15 and left with a to-​go box and two happy bellies.
Stopped in after our training session so we were both starving and ready to eat. We were seated immediately and the waitress was very quick to take our drinks. Which brings me to the awesome service which was provided! Quick, efficient, but not pushy.
She ordered the steak/​shrimp special ($ 7.98) which came with about 1c carrots, 1.2 cups fried rice, and about 3oz each of yakiniku and chicken. The steak was out of this world! Hers came with mushrooms as well which I gladly took out for her.
I got the typical chicken hibachi with steamed rice. The chicken was fully cooked and was delicious. I actually topped my mix with the sweet and sour sauce which is served at the tables with what I believe is wonton chips?
Fast, friendly service, great prices, good food, and supporting local restaurants instead of the big chains??? 3.5 STARS But can’t do that, so I’ll push it up to 4 for moral support.

CALLING ALL HOT & SOUR SOUP LOVERS!!! This is your place!
I stumbled upon this place during my business travels, and now I make a point to come here if I’m anywhere remotely in the area. I love this little restaurant, primarily because their hot and sour soup rivals many top Chinese restaurants I’ve been to. I usually get two bowls! ;-)
It’s also a neat concept here because you have the choice between traditional Chinese food or Japanese hibachi plates (cooked right there in the dining room). And they have very affordable lunch specials at around $ 5 — you can’t beat that. The staff are friendly and eager to please and the food is prepared quickly.
Mini warning to the ladies who don’t like their clothes and hair smelling like food though, be sure to sit away from the hibachi grill because it does get intense in there… but the big fan above the grill works pretty well.

This is my fiancé’s and my favorite asian place in Johnson City. Not only is the food exceptional, the service was amazing and that is always key for us in determining whether we revisit or not.
We first discovered it on a late-​night craving for chinese and after googling any open places at the time we discovered this. We got there 15 minutes till closing and although we weren’t sure they would still serve us, they did. We ordered take out and while our order was being made the kind hostess asked if we would like anything to drink. My fiancé asked for water and I declined for not wanting to trouble her further. She brought out his water and brought me out a glass of the best sweet tea I have ever had! She then even brought us out wonton chips and a sweet sauce to nibble on while we waited. She did not have to go so far out of her way so late at night and especially when we were take-​out customers, but she did and it meant a lot to us. She even gave me a cup to take my tea home with me and I enjoyed it.
When we got home, the food was piping HOT and delicious! All in all, Wok and Hibachi is an amazing place to eat. The food is delicious and the service is AMAZING. It may be a bit on the pricier side than we can usually afford, but you can bet that when we have the money and want asian food this is our go-​to place. Definitely recommend to anyone.

Recently rediscovered this gem. I go there for the Chinese and Thai. They get it right! The owners are always welcoming and go out of their way to make sure you are happy.
Make sure you try the curry eggrolls.

Just had a great lunch at Cranberries. The turkey club was made with fresh ingredients and the portion was plentiful. Loved the place, great sweet tea and service was excellent. Will definitely go back next time I am in town

Good stuff. Glad there is finally some good chinese food in town. You can get hibatchi/​japenese as well. They make it fresh and full of flavor.
