Went back for a set of circulars to make a baby blanket… wanted to see sale yarns upstairs before making purchase, bought some alpaca & novelty yarns, 4 skeins totaling about $ 30 of the roughly $ 50 spent on a trip to the store for a $ 10 item(also got a few pattern books from the boxes upstairs), and nobody offered to ball wind my yarn! I’ve never been to a store where the offer wasn’t made! Clearly the customer service is lacking in this location! It may be available upon request, but why should a paying customer have to do that? I may return for buttons, but nothing else and nothing extra… recommend others do the same who also resent giving money to discourteous business owners!

I’m all for small businesses, and this yarn store is great. Candice is the owner, and she’s very helpful when it comes to finding what you need. She’s pretty much got it all. There’s also a knitting group that meets in the back, which is neat. I never had the chance to go hang out and knit with them, but they always looked like they were having fun. As far as her wares, she has everything from needles, hooks, and various yarn devices, to the most wonderful feeling yarns and nifty pattern books. Her yarns are not cheap, but they are quality. She also offers to ball up skeins for you, which is always handy, and she puts you in her computer and gives you a discount on your birthday! Yay discount! Go check her store out and support a small business!
