Not a ton of selection in this little Gap outlet location but I was still able to get a couple pair of toddler pants that were already on clearance and then marked down some more. I gotta love that and try my best to be a smart shopper and purchase for fall next year for my little grand baby.

Good selection, ok prices, BUT… From the slack-jawed expressions on the teenage clerk’s faces to the sarcastic and unfriendly manager, it’s exactly the experience you might expect from an outlet mall in the middle of a corn field that’s an hour away from civilization in any direction.

The Gap Outlet store at Johnson Creek is A-OK in my book. I have been to this store a few times and I can say that if you are not a fan of crowds, Sunday morning right when the store opens is the best. Everything is neatly placed(and hasn’t been looked through), very few people are in the store and there are plenty of staff available to help you if you need it. When I think of outlet, I think of bargain prices and I would not categorize this as bargain prices. However, they usually always have sales going on and if you are a Gap/Old Navy/Banana Republic Card holder there are usually more deals that you can get as far as percentage off. Shopping clearance in this store is hit or miss on how great the deals are. I have found that if you hit the store just right you can walk out with some clothes marked down to a couple of bucks. However, you usually have to be able to wear XS and XL to get these great deals as most of the M and L sizes are gone and be willing to wear last seasons clothes. They have a decent baby/kids section and there are always good deals in there. For me personally, Gap is the place I like to get my jeans as they usually fit the best. They are comfortable and when you get them on a great deal really can make it worth the trip. If you are at Johnson Creek, check it out and you might just find a great deal you can’t pass up.

Every time I visit this store I wonder why… In my most recent experience, the store was 50% off for their Memorial Day weekend sale. When I went to check out, I had a 15% off coupon which expired the same weekend. I was told they were not taking coupons because the entire store was already discounted. If that’s the case, why would your company create coupons for that specific weekend. Plus, I’m a Gap card holder. I even mentioned that I just left Banana Republic(same company as Gap) where they were happy to accept my 25% on top of their store being 50% off… no questions asked. I got no response. In general, I feel like Gap Outlet is over priced, their sales aren’t very good, and every time I walk to their clearance section I turn right around. Who puts the XS and S section at the top, so high up the average person can’t reach – so how in the world would a small person be able to reach! And their«clearance» prices don’t reflect my definition of clearance. Overall, disappointing.
