We wanted a sit down restaurant to go to after visiting my dad in the hospital. Well this wasn’t the place to eat. We waited almost 30 minutes for our food to be delivered. Sliders were soggy. Chicken sandwich was lunch meat with cheese on a soggy pretzel bun. Boneless wings were chicken nuggets. Grilled cheese was not melted. Husbands food came 10 mins after the rest of ours. After reading the previous review on someone’s kids getting sick on wings I am praying mine will be fine. The waitresses all seemed to be rushing and under staffed. Not the best service and not the greatest food. The waitress was nice enough to remove my husbands meal and a soda from our bill for the inconvenience after we said things were not good. So on that front it was a plus as they did recognize the problem. Disappointed by this experience. Unfortunately we will not be back if we are in this area again.

Was excited about trying this place as we have passed it many times. Our waitress was wonderful and kept checking on us. The atmosphere was pleasant and our family loved the outdoor fireplace. Unfortunately both my children ordered wings and within eight hours were extremely sick from food poisoning. Due to how they have been heaving for over twelve hours now… we will not return. There were only two other people there… maybe others new something we didn’t.

First, we had to wait at least 10 minutes to put in our drink order. The menu was designed by a 6 year old? The grammar alone! The font on the menu is so bad you can’t even read it well. The food was cold, never was asked if we wanted refills, never checked back until bill time. Disappointed how bad this place was.

This restaurant and bar gets better every week. Ask about their new items you will be amazed at what you can eat. I heard a rumor that they are starting a Bloody Mary bar on Sundays. The owner and staff are very friendly

Midpoint is exactly what Johnson Creek needed — a nice sports bar off Hwy 26. The service has been good every time I have been there. The food is OK, but nothing to write home about. The atmosphere is a little too«bright» on the inside. It kind of has the feel of a bar someone put in their basement, and tried to decorate very safe to please the masses. Overall, a good spot to grab a drink after work, but nothing special.

Gooda Mac and cheese bites are deep fried heaven! so good!!! We order them every time we come. My girlfriend and I are not crazy about the food(it’s pretty good) but we still come back every so often. The service is usually ok too. When they first opened it was a DISASTER but have improved a bit since then.

We gave Midpoint two chances. The first time my husband and I thought the food was very bland but we thought we would try it again. We went last Saturday. After being sat we literally went through 3 waitress’s! They have no idea what they’re doing. We ended up getting 3 orders of drinks each, because they all brought one two us. We waited about 40 min for a mini pizza, and two burgers. My daughter wouldn’t touch the pizza. I picked at my burger, and the fries were gross. The waitress probably checked on us once. And I told, the food was not good. She said«okay». No manager came to talk to us. Granted she was like 15 – 16 years old, I felt bad for her. But maybe get better wait staff and quiltly food. Because the resturant décor on the inside and out is really nice but the food does not match. Won’t be back. Management, you should read these reviews. And be ashamed you’re charing customers $ 50 for 2 burgers a mini pizza and 3 drinks. I was so upset about paying $ 50 for McDonald’s like food. Rip off.

Super friendly staff makes you feel welcome from the minute you walk in the door. Clean, uncluttered atmosphere. Food is very good and the fries are amazing. Will stop in every time we travel between Illinois and Wisconsin.

Went there on 5−8−15 after my daughter’s dance recital. Wanted to try this place for months & I was really disappointed. Only noticed one sports related piece of artwork other than them playing a baseball or basketball game on the tv’s. The food is a joke! I realize the owner of the restaurant also owns the culver’s across the highway. If I go to a Sports pub I want more sports related artwork and the food should be stuff I can’t get at the restaurant across the street. They were short staffed as well or so it seemed. My boyfriend & didn’t really see an appetizer that stood out to us(which is surprising for us). He ordered the Guinness battered shrimp w/bang bang sauce. He said it was a cheese whiz sauce with some hot sauce mixed in & it wasn’t that spicy. I ordered the 3 sliders with grilled onions. Neither of our orders were made on site from what we could tell. I trust my boyfriend’s judgement of food quality as he worked in restaurants for 20 years. Our drinks took just about as long as the food. A Cast Away for me & a beer for my boyfriend. He saw a porter that sounded good & was told that she didn’t think they had it. They did. Most places bring you a mug with your beer… not here apparently we waited a half an hour or so it seemed for a glass. This is only the second time I’ve ever left a negative review for a restaurant. The other place I’ve been back to, I highly doubt I’ll return to this restaurant.

This restaurant opened in December. We were there this past Tues.(4−28−15)(had to get a mop at Menards and cosmetics at Kohls right next store — sweet convenience) My husband who is a wings expert said the ones with bone– in were the best he has eaten. I had the calamari fries. Yes, fries Like French fries. Delectable, and we are very picky about calamari. This version is served with a hot pepper jelly for dipping. Bartender was sociable, and efficient. Décor was very inviting. Fireplace and couches in the corner of the large area where the bar is. It was all good. Marian Speerless

The restaurant is beautiful. We went there and the food menu is typical and a bit of a disappointment. There is no Chef witch is a typical move of owners that think they know better. The first time we visited our drinks were made completely different when we ordered a second round. There was a bar manager that was not very friendly but the second bartender was awesome. Second time we went there we took my 92 yearold mother in law we all struggled to find good diner food. We made our choices and everything was good but not great. This place has so much potential. It is to bad they will not hire a good Chef! one more thing the owner was an owner of culverts and that doesn’t mean the owners know good food because I personally do not like culvers

Stopped in for a quick bite and a few drinks for the badger game. I had the sliders and fries. It was delicious! They had a good selection of beers and the staff was very friendly and attentive! Definitely going back!

Midpoint is a new restaurant so I wanted to give it time to get its act together. Doesn’t sound like it has so far. So let’s consider this review something to learn from. I’m giving it a star because it was clean and the staff is friendly. Here’s where they could all improve. The menu is way too small for sports/casual dining. They said they were still working on it, but really, you’d think they’d want that put together before they opened. I had a Sauteed Caesar Salad which was much too small for the price. The lettuce was chewy, tough to cut and not at all good. My husband had a burger that was overpriced and nothing special. The staff needs to be trained. They didn’t know the beer list or the food menu. They didn’t know proper serving practicesu. This training should have been done before they opened the restaurant and should continue whenever something new goes on the menu. Management really dropped the ball on that one. A word of advice: staff should NOT1) say an item on the menu isn’t very good, 2) say they know nothing about something on the menu, 3) act like it’s the customer’s problem that they are busy, 4) replenish a guest’s wine by refilling the glass they currently are drinking from, especially if that glass isn’t empty. Our meal was a fast food experience for fine dining prices.

Great food! Just released their full menu and our party tried the piggyback and the Ruben. Piggyback was delicious! Burger was nice and juicy and the pork had great flavor. Corned beef was very fresh and was a good sized sandwich. Prices were reasonable, this is a restaurant not fast food. Staff is excellent and the owner even asked how things were! Keep it up! Look into dinner entrees in the future, prime rib Saturday’s or fish fry Friday’s…but a great experience!

For being a newly opened place they sure don’t have their act together and while the server was the best thing about our evening, sadly she was still poorly trained. She didn’t know important details about the menu. For starters my girlfriend ordered a strawberry margarita and the server was unsure and doubtful they had strawberry ones. Turns out they did have them, yet we were told this after ordering something else. Next I ordered some boneless wings with chipolte sauce for an appetizer. Turns out there is no chipolte sauce but just a chipolte mayo that they considered a dipping sauce. Dipping things into mayo is not my cup of tea and it was the least spicy chipolte I’ve ever tasted. That was just another thing the server knew nothing about ans we kept getting the excuse well we just got the menus today and its all new. I feel like they need to take time to properly train their staff. The server was still kind and polite and did a decent job but it was a poor experience. On to the food. The strawberry margarita tasted like dish water. The chicken wings were frozen and very inconsistent. We got a few normal size wings and then a few pieces that were about the size of a penny and nothing but deep fried breading. I ordered a piggy back which one person reviewed as great that was not my experience. My girlfriend ordered a mushroom and swiss burger and substituted French onion soup for fries. The burgers were not even fresh and made in house they were clearly frozen patties that tasted freezer burnt even. Neither of us finished our meal. Everything was just very very bland lacking flavor and everything was clearly frozen. Paying 12 bucks for a burger that’s frozen and not very big makes me want to go to any of the many other popular burger chains around and get something that not only tastes better but is priced that way too. I would seriously have eaten a McDonald’s burger over the crap they served me. Lastly. I found it amazing the amount of staff they had in hand. The place wasn’t that busy really for a Friday night in my opinon. The bar area was all but empty and the seating area had a fair amount of tables but they had a different server for every single table. Not one server was working more then one table. I saw at least 8 to 10 servers it was amazing and really I feel bad for the servers. How cab they make money like that? All in all. I’m bummed. Overpriced, terrible tasting food. First time in my life I couldn’t finish a burger. Not one thing we were served was good. I was hoping for a new decent place in our area but this place isn’t It. I will not be returning.

Okay I realize they just opened but I have a few complaints. Their food sucked. Their food was also overpriced. I would also like to mention that it was clean and the staff is very friendly.
