I always go for the soft vanilla/chocolate combo but the regular ones are pretty darn good too… So if you’re in the area and looking for some good ice cream try their soft one! Credit cards welcome, friendly staff and nice shady area to sit and enjoy.

The best place to enjoy so many hard serve or soft serve ice cream flavors with lots of toppings! There are options for those looking for non dairy, too. Sundaes takes credit cards which a lot of ice cream places don’t. Indoor or outdoor seating and restrooms. They also have doggie sundaes so I always bring one home for my Lab!

Bliss Dairy ice cream, friendly staff, generous portions(give me all the sprinkles), credit cards accepted, and a dedicated, legit(not powdered fake-a-flavor) coffee soft serve machine. Sundaes checks all the boxes for me!

The ice cream selection is great! There are many options for low-calorie dieters(i.e. Only 8, no sugar added which is made with Splenda) and for children. That said, I am giving it 3 stars instead of 5 because service is sometimes not that great. Additionally, I own a service animal who was not allowed in the business. One of the workers actually told me that I would have to provide paperwork, tell her what disability the dog is used for, and that the dog needed to be wearing a service vest at all times(even though he had a service leash on). It is ILLEGAL to ask those questions as per The American Disabilities Act. When I kindly explained to her, she was very defensive. Working in the mental health field, my clients would be incredibly offended and possibly be triggered by this worker’s response to one of their service animals. Afterwards, I called the manager who never followed-up with me. Overall, it is wonderful if any food business carries a wide selection of tasty products; however, the staff and service helps define the success or failure of businesses. It is important to train your workers well and to teach them that when they receive feedback from customers, they should not take it personally but rather learn from the experience. Managers should also deliver an apology or take some sort of accountability instead of avoiding the situation.

Great ice cream spot! Lots of options for flavor as and types of ice cream. Yummy shakes with fresh fruits! And last but not least doggy iced treats! Only gave it four stars because it seems to be a hangout for preteens and teens, it gets a bit annoying with kids yelling when going there with your family.

Great options! Sugar –Free, Fat– Free — Lactose Free and so many flavors! Soft-serve and Hard Yogurt and Ice Cream. Large portions and credit cards accepted. Nice atmosphere with picnic tables outside and outside service or air-conditioned indoor seating with so many flavors including the traditional to «party cake» ice cream! Large portion size and«Freebie» pink cards. Great Birthday cakes too. Gotta go get my fix!

My family and I have been coming here for years. The ice cream is very good but the prices are a bit high compared to other ice cream shops. What I did take note of this season is that the inside of this shop is FILTHY. If you really look at the floors, underneath the soft serve machines, windows, you see filth. We visited right after this shop opened for the season and would have thought that they would have given it a good cleaning. This was not the case. Although this location is very close to home and convenient, my family and I were pretty disgusted by the lack of cleanliness and will seek other ice cream shops in the area until they can pick up a mop. This is unfortunate because the ice cream is really pretty good.

After living just down the road from here for the past two years, I finally decided to drop in, enticed and intrigued by the Best of Rhode Island(RI Monthly) sign and my love of ice cream. First, I need to give a shout out to the name. Ice cream parlors/stands/etc. often have uncreative names that are perpetually reused. Sundaes is definitely a new one for me. Now on to the ice cream! Sundaes has a large list of hard ice cream, some of which are your old favorites and some you have never heard before. If you cannot find your favorite flavor here, you don’t have one. They also have a few flavors of soft serve. You can get your ice cream of choice in a range of different cones, dipped, or covered in jimmies. There is seating inside, but why would you sit inside when there are tables outside, as well? The parking lot is often crowded and spots are narrow. While there is usually a line to order, it doesn’t take long to make your way through it. The cashiers are not particularly friendly but not unfriendly either. The biggest downfall I find with Sundaes, other than the parking lot, is the prices. I find that it is a bit pricey. Will that stop me from returning? No, I have to earn a free ice cream with my frequency card.

Yum! First time here but definitely not the last! Ordered coconut cheesecake brownie and cotton candy and the girl who was taking our order actually asked which one I wanted on top/bottom! I’ve never been asked before, but I have a preference so I was psyched. Both flavors are delicious. I love that they take credit cards! And we were given a «sundaes card» to get stamped every time and you trade it in for free things, and rainy days are worth two stamps. This place is adorable and I will 100% be back.

Get a small soft serve ice cream, not a large. Huge portions! They take credit cards, which most ice cream places don’t.

This is what summer is all about. I could live off their soft serve swirl! Staff is always friendly and prices are fair. Kid friendly with outdoor seating.

Great variety, friendly staff, clean shop. Holy huge kiddie size though, more like giant obese diabetic kiddie size! My son and I couldn’t finish it, but it was good.

They sell local Bliss ice cream here and the kids that are typically serving it are nice. The scoop sizes are generous for the price.

Ahhh… Sundaes! Always staffed by high school students who, although they would rather be spending their summer vacation at the beach, are always smiley and friendly, even at closing time. Unlike the Sundaes on Oaklawn Ave, this location has a large indoor seating area, so its a safe pick to satiate those rainy day dairy cravings. I like the black raspberry choc chip hard yogurt with low-fat hot fudge. take that, cheat meal! They also have regular soft-serve, a decent selection of hard ice cream and«Önly 8» super low-cal froyo for maintaining that bikini body all summer long. They do accepts cards but bring some cash for the tip jar — these kids definitely work for it!
