The looks of the peeped foods are not Appealing by any means… the place needs to be cleaned up and so does the grungy baker! And the cookies they give to the kids are free for a reason…

Go-to bakery. Right near my house and the pizza and bread is always fluffy and delicious. Their pastries, however… are a little different. The cannolis are somewhat bland, and the cupcake frosting has a weird texture(it seperates from the whole cupcake…). Other than that though it is a wonderfully priced bakery for the quality bread.

Hands down best white pizza strips I’ve had. So. Much. Flavor!!! Everything I’ve had here(which has been food, not pastry type stuff) has been amazing. All calzones, pizza and pizza strips have been fresh and delicious!!! Definitely the place to get a tray from for a party or just a strip for lunch. And they take credit cards which I appreciate since I never have cash!

I don’t like their pizza strips as much as I was hoping to. The bakery near my house has just closed and I was looking for a new place to snag strips but I don’t like their sauce much. But! Their wine biscuits are literally the best I’ve ever had. Not too dry, just right. So very good. ** I’d recommend them to anyone. ** Besides those, I’ll head back to try what else they offer. The woman was nice at the counter and overall the bakery gives off a nice, simple vibe.

Drove out of our way for pizza strips. It was worth the detour(from Boston) to Providence for the WaterFire show. We couldn’t leave RI without trying a pizza strip. Luckily we came upon zeppoles too. One of the owners gave me a complimentary coffee milk. Now I’ve tried everything that I’ve been wanting to eat/drink here in RI! Pros: *They were nice enough to toast our pizza strips, they were so good! * small gestures such as the free coffee milk just shows how great this establishment is. :)

The bread boss is run by a couple of hard working guys. I don’t know that for a fact but you would have to be hard working to put in the hours that they do to make the bakery business run. The bread is outstanding, it has a great outer crust end chewy texture inside. They have a wide assortment of styles and sizes and shapes of breads. The rolls are equally good. The pizza strips are wonderful nicely sauced good flavor in a very good crust. Often I like to just stop by and get a couple of strips for the ride home. Which isn’t far just the next street over. The pastries are OK. They have a pretty good assortment many of them are puff pastry related such as apple turnovers and Eccles cakes, etc. I remember having a couple of zeppole around St Joseph’s Day they were good. The pies look good in the showcase, I cannot comment on them because I have not eaten one, but if looks are an impression, then I believe they are good. The staff is pleasant. I would recommend this as a good neighborhood Italian Bakery. The bread boss has just recently going through some renovations and it looks nice so abbondanza my friends

I’m updating the review, not to change the rating, but to add another important point. I showed up 15 minutes after they had closed, to my disappointment. The super sweet baker came outside and asked me what I was looking for; maybe they could still help. I wanted pizza, but they were out, so he GAVE me a loaf of bread. These people really know how to build their customer loyalty. I’m hooked and I’ll proclaim their awesomeness from the rooftops!

It’s so nice to have a bakery within walking distance to my house. I’m so glad the Bread Boss opened and seems to be doing well. Bread, pizza, desserts, and especially the cake that looks like a giant cupcake. really, really good. The Chicken Parm calzone needs help though. It sounded delicious, but the chicken was very tough.

Very good, very traditional Italian(RI) style bakery. You know the type; breads, sweets, pizza strips, spinach pies, etc. The difference? Attention to detail and quality ingredients. I recommend the pizza strips(I like the ends) and the almond biscotti… yum!

The new name is hilarious. Formerly DiVozzi, this bakery is now run by a different italian family. I went in for the classic RI pizza strips which were solid. The sauce is tasty. The crust is a little on the thicker side(about ¾ inch) which I like. If its too thin, then the strips are too crispy which I think is more difficult to deal with when eating room temperature pizza. The selection of breads and pastries was fair. I bought some apple squares that were: sad trombone: though. There is a counter you can stand at if you are inclined to eat there even though the place isn’t really set up for that. The staff were very pleasant.

This bakery has quality food! We always get the fresh dough for homemade pizzas we make at home. They have a very large selection of calzones small, large and pArty size. They have specialty pizza slices as well and — the broccoli rabe and sausage which they load up is simply delicious! Their pizza chips are amazing– definitely worth the visit and what I usually go for! The staff is very friendly and even offered my lil man a free chocolate chip cookie, the small things like that stick and make a great impression. I will be back again and again. Prices are very reasonable. Try it out!

I go here a lot of dough it’s very cheap and also fresh. I love all the desserts but the simple vanilla cupcake with chocolate frosting is awesome ! Not too sweet with just the right amount of frosting. Yummy

Basically everything is good here, the pizza, the bread, the pastries but what makes Divozzi stand out for me are their mini pizzas. Delish little rounds with pesto, hot peppers, or plain tomato sauce, very light and perfect when you need to bring a dish to share.

I’m from NY, and had never had RI Pizza… totally different! The best RI pizza around. $ 3 for 2 pizza strips on Thursday.

Pretty darn good pizza for the price. A large is huge and rectangular shaped for I think it was 12. Definitely recommend it. Make sure you call at least an hour ahead though, very busy place. Tried their canolis the other day too, very good.
