Chili’s was great at one time, and then it went downhill. However, it’s back to the good times again. We are there at least once a month, and it keeps getting better. The reward program they have is a nice incentive. The food is made to order, and the service is excellent. The only downside I have to this is they have a Tex-Mex menu, and I’m a picky eater. However, that doesn’t stop me from enjoying the burgers and quesadillas they have. The servers are excellent and prompt with whatever you need. Everything is declines. Again, I cannot stress joining their reward program. You can get free desserts and/or appetizers!

Walked in and sat at bar and in the course of 20+ min all I got was an ice tea. No offer to tAke my order just sat and witnessed one customer service drama after another at the bar and with take out orders. After hearing a couple behind me at a real table complain about food and seeing many others sitting around looking like I was for service I walked out. Not sure what the problem was as there was only about 1⁄3 occupancy for both sides of restaurant and lots of people in Chillis uniforms. Would not recommend to anyone.

Poor quality food and to top it off my server gave herself an extra tip on my credit card. It took about a month for me to get my money back. The manager tried to give me a gift card. I used a corporate card so it was important that I get the credit to my card. This sub standard meal cost me hours of my time dealing with the manager and my accounting department.

I’m not really going to go into food or ambiance too much in this review as this is a fast casual chain. All I can say is that the food is decent enough, even if it is hard for one that has allergies to find something edible. Is it so hard to not cover everything with corn? What I really want to touch on here is how impersonal this place in general has become. I like the idea of the table top touch screen system that lets you do everything from ordering your own appetizer to playing a game, but I hate the fact that you never see anyone. If I am doing most of your work, what is the point of you having a job in the first place. Are you aware that you are in the process of being phased out. And, if I am doing the work, I should expect the prices to drop as payroll should shrink. It just irritates me, you have become nothing more than a glorified fast food restaurant. The only good thing I can say about those distraction screens is that I don’t have to wait to pay. I can split my check if need be and swipe my card and be done with it. What confuses me about that is that I am not sure whether I should leave a tip because all that you as a server has provided me with is my food once it was cooked in the kitchen.

This Chili’s is infinitely better than the Altoona location. Comparing the quality of what comes out of the kitchens, it’s like they’re two different experiences, not chain sisters. The service left something to be desired but was competent and accurate. Yes, it ‘s chain Tex Mex but it was well presented, fresh, and tasty. Location is good for kids. Parking all around the freestanding building on a corner that sees little thru traffic.

A breath of fresh air for a chain restaurant! The bartenders were absolutely wonderful. I remember Pam was one but I don’t remember the younger guys name, either way they were amazing. My Chicken quesadilla salad is beyond delicious,(per Pam’s recommendation,) and completely satisfying. I travel a lot and this experience definitely puts this restaurant on my radar for my future trips.

I’m not sure I can find a single good thing to say about lunch today. I usually really like chilis. I was school shopping with my four children and we went to lunch after. It was almost noon but not very busy. We sat 15 minutes before she came to take our drink orders. I asked if we could order our meal as well. She took that order. Came back. Tossed our drinks at us without a word. We looked around for straws. Found them in our napkins. She brought our chips and salsa. Stacks of chips were burnt together. All the chips were brown. Ran out of salsa. She didn’t offer more. She left all of our drink cups when we finally got refills. Brought the app that went with two of my sons’ 2 for 20. It was onions and jalapeños. They were so greasy… then brought our sandwiches and such. I looked for salt for fries. They no longer have salt on the tables. Any of tgem. That confused me. My sandwich was edible at least. Until I bit into an avocado stem. I told them to let the kitchen know avocado stems aren’t edible she laughed. So that’s that

This location has been getting worse and worse over time. Recently received a meal while dining in that had portions still FROZEN. The wait staff working pick up orders are usually rude. Online orders tend to be missing items or prepared incorrectly even when there is a ticket with the instructions for the order attached to the containers. Wait staff in the dining area have always been very friendly though.

Inconsistent policy’s across locations… While a wide variety of lunches are available on weekdays, weekend lunches are void from anything more than a traditional dinner menu. Accommodations aren’t made to to accommodate their limited choices… Lunch diners beware!

I’m sitting in the restaurant writing this review simply because I have nothing else to do while I’m waiting for the wait staff to figure out what is going on in here. I used to really enjoy coming to Chili’s. Not anymore. It took 20 minutes to get a glass of water and a margarita. Even longer for our food. Our waiter introduced himself to us twice because he forgot he had already taken our drink order. The food was mediocre at best. Certainly nothing I’d come back for. The rice with my shrimp tacos was hard, like it had been sitting for too long. The beans were cold. The tacos were throw together with little thought to how someone could actually eat a large hunk of cabbage. It took another 20 minutes after we were done until someone acknowledged us and offered to bring a check. They have a fundraiser for St Jude going on and I would have gladly donated but no one wanted to talk to us about it. The only reason they get 2 stars instead of 1 is the watermelon margarita really rocked. Regardless, we won’t be back.

This particular location must have issues with the back of the house. Food took way too long, not only for me but for the four tables near me, wait staff gave away for and discounts to make up for it. Server forgot my salad entirely. Chili’s is never great, never bad. Like most chains should be consistent. This one was not.

Chili’s has really been going down hill. I used to enjoy every Chili’s which I had visited. Recently they all are just dirty and the staff is not as friendly as I had come to expect. The food was overcooked. The table was greasy. It was cleaned but there was a towels worth of lint left on the table top… I don’t think either of the servers ever smiled.

Chili’s is a popular place here in Johnstown. The food is Tex Mex and the wait service is decent. The variety of food available is good and kids like the atmosphere. They have a full bar area and it can get crowded when a Pittsburgh game is on(football or hockey). We’ve never had any problems with the Chili’s here in Johnstown and would recommend this place for a casual fun atmosphere.

I’ve been sitting on a Chili’s gift card for years because I couldn’t bring myself to sit through another miserable meal. Unfortunately I found myself in Johnstown late on a Sunday evening and it was the only place open and the idea of a cold beer was appealing. The beer was the highlight of the trip. We asked for information about the chicken tortilla soup and the waiter said it «was brown and orange». We opted for the potato soup instead and a salad. The lettuce tasted funny and the soup was watery and seemed like it was from a can of Campbell’s(but not that good). My burger was over cooked and the bun was stale. At least I didn’t waste my own money.
