Good place with some tasty craft brewed beer… sadly they are now closed.

This place is great for atmosphere, food, views and relaxing. Very welcoming and great service and a nice selection of menu items. I like the lobster bisque! Their potato skins are different. they can be stuffed the way you know them to be with cheese, bacon, etc. or broccoli and cheddar or chili or ham & cheese. Not as filling as a sandwich, but when you want something light and satisfying, these do the trick. The crab cakes have NO fillers and have a secret seasoning, some of the best I have had. The fish & chips is North Atlantic cod battered in their own 1889 amber ale, yes their own brewsky, fried to a crunchy golden brown. Yes, they do have their own Brewery, featuring light beers to stouts and dark ale’s. Live entertainment on weekends. Super cool website @: .

Located in a former local steel mill’s management club, the restaurant continues a steel-mill«theme» with memorabilia & photographs from the era. The restaurant is situated on a hillside, making for pleasant views of the valley below, and there is outdoor seating on the lower-level deck. There are two levels, with bars on each, and many nights there is live entertainment in the lower level. The dress is above t-shirts and shorts, but still not formal. Staff are friendly and courteous. Daytime atmosphere is quiet and relaxed. Microbrewery on site. They also brew their own root beer, which I can attest is out of this world. Good selection of lunch wraps, sandwiches & hamburgers. Good homemade soups. Dinner menu. Excellent desserts. Have events throughout the year, such as Easter dinner or during Thunder in the Valley. Prices are comparable to most chain restaurants, not bad by today’s standards. EDIT: The Brewing Company closed permanently June 24. It will be sadly missed.
