Awful wait on drive thru. Then finally ready to pay and I have to pull up to slot 1 and wait 5 more minutes. This is with nobody in line inside. Absolutely ridiculous. Unfortunately I live in Johnstown and this is usually how this business is ran. Awful!

Wow was McDonalds ever a mistake. Stopped for a bite to eat last night in Johnstown and it was terrible. I was the only one at the counter and it took forever to get my food. The meat on the burger was as thin as lunch meat and under cooked. The lettuce tasted stale. They tossed the French fries into the bag upside down. And the whole time I’m there the manager is yelling at everybody for loosing her keys when they were laying on the counter right in front of her. Went out that door and won’t be going back!

I ordered three double cheeseburgers, a medium fry, a large fry, and a large Coke. They charged me for all of that. The issues were that they handed me a Coke that had obviously been sitting for so long that it had gone flat. The next one was that I got charged for three DOUBLE cheeseburgers when they only gave me cheeseburgers. The wrapper was even wrapped to where is said double cheeseburgers. Every single time I go here, they mess something up! I wish this town had more food options because the kids at McDonald’s obviously do not care!

This McDonalds cannot get it right. I ordered the buttermilk chicken sandwich and it was burnt and the side of the bun covered in mayo. I took it inside for a replacement. Lobby was disgusting! The employee looked at it and threw it away and ordered a replacement. First told me it was supposed to look like that… no it does not… then said it comes that way if you order in the drive thru… sure it does, because you thought I would just drive on thru and not complain! Second sandwich, still burnt. Manager offered to make me a third sandwich and I declined and requested a refund.

When I go to Mcdonalds I generally have low expectations, however this specific location has managed to disgrace and infuriate me repeatedly!!! Not to mention previous experiences… Today was note worthy, they open at 5am, I showed up at 5:10am. I am preparing to place my order when a voice tells me they are not serving for another 25min. I then pull through the lane only to see another customer being helped. I was confused and pulled back through the front and checked the hours. They were open, inside a nice young lady wworking the lobby told me yes they were open! Wjen I pulled back thrroigh the drive through I was met with the same voice (on duty manager) who again said she wasnt ready, it woulf be 25min. When I began to protest she simply told me to have a nice day! That was it! No apology, explination, no service. If your in the mood for a dirty lobby, incorrect orders and rude service I suggest 7 – 11 up the road!

Terrible on Everything!!! They are the only game in the area so they can upcharge and screw you left and right and know you’ll be back. The service is by far the worst and slowest I have ever experienced in my 42 years on this planet. I’m pretty sure they have storewide meetings on how to piss off customers and squeeze every penny out of them while doing it. My only wish would be that comparable competition comes in and sets up shop so no one has to frequent this establishment ever again! I for one will never put up with a pissed warm (no ice) iced tea again in my life! Fuck off and die McDonald’s of Johnstown Colorado.

This is the worst mcdonalds ever, I hate that this is the only choice that I have living in a small town. I can guarantee every time I go there something will be messed up. Been going to it now for 7 years and I dread it every time my kids beg for mcdonalds. if they don’t forget something then by the time I get home and open the box I could either have a big mac in a chicken box or sweet tea instead of unsweet. Just irritating. I don’t know why but this is the only one I ever have problems with.

This particular McDonald seems to serve their inside customers much faster than drive-​thru orders

The service is very slow. For breakfast hour they need to hire more people to service the drive thru customers… too many times we pull up to the window and am told we have to park and wait for our order. Also, their machine for making shakes/​frozen drinks like frappes and such is constantly out of order. I have driven there numerous times only to be told the machine is not working. One time the worker told me they forgot to clean it the night before and thus the reason it was not working. That was not something I needed to hear! The manager needs to replace the machine, make sure they clean at night, and make sure customers get what they want. This is the first McDonald’s that I have ever complained about. Also, they do not fill up the cups when you order iced coffee, but leave ¼ of it empty from the top. I asked them about this, and they said they are told not to fill up the cups past the line stamped on the cup. So, if I order a large, I get a medium, and if I order a medium, I get a small, and if I order a small, I get a few sips. This is just a way for the manager to cut costs and save money on the expense of the customer. This is the ONLY McDonald’s that does this, and I buy coffee at numerous McDonald’s for many years. Tacky and bad business, especially when you know they add a lot of ice, too.

So this place is a McDonalds. Nothing spectacular about the place but it gets the job done if you need a quick lunch. This McD’s is situated in a parking lot where Hays market is. Their drive up is kind of set up funky because of that. The place is clean and the service friendly. Don’t expect water features that you may see at McD’s in the bigger towns. Folks don’t do that here!
