Great food great price must try when in downtown Johnstown PA We ate there last night and had leftovers to take home.

Absolutely delicious and fresh food. The steak on their Philly sandwiches is sliced in store and their bread dough is shipped in from Atlantic City and baked daily. A nine inch«half» sub will only set you back about six bucks. Still haven’t tried the pizza but I’m sure it’s amazing given the level of quality of everything else I’ve had so far.

Rocco’s in a true gem in downtown Johnstown. I love its location right on Main St. just next to the City Hall Park. The staff are awesome and the food is much superior to other pizza and sub joints. I will certainly stop by again whenever I end up in flood city.

Good Stuff! I’ve been meaning to stop in at Rocco’s since they opened being that they claim to have Atlantic City style subs, and spending many of my days in New Jersey I thought I would give this place a try to see if they were legit. Rocco’s is the real deal authentic New Jersey style subs on great bread! I would say it’s hard to find a sandwich this good anywhere in the area. It brought me back to the delicious New Jersey style sandwich’s I remember from younger days. On my trip I had the large Italian which was 18 inches of quality meats and cheeses with oil and of course Jersey style hot peppers. This is an absolutely great sandwich! I will be stopping back again for sure to try their Steak Sandwich and Pizza(which looked great as well). Overall its great to see a place like this pop up in downtown Johnstown. I wish them all the best, and they have my business for sure!

We ate here because there was parking out front. The owner, Jim, was right there at the counter! We asked about the sandwiches and he told us how they get the bread fresh daily from a bakery in Atlantic City. Now, truth be told, I am not usually a sandwich guy. The thought of having to unhinge my jaw like a python, for a mouthful of chomp-chomp-chomp doesn’t appeal to me… But these rolls looked to be a more dignified size, so I threw caution to the wind! Besides, Jim gave me his personal guarantee that we would love the sandwich. We went for the 18 inch Philly Cheesesteak Sandwiches! Wow, were they good! What it lacked in girth, it made up for in length, flavor and tenderness. That’s it… a sandwich… simple, yet perfect. Who knew?! Just a deli we found along the way on our history-road-trip to Johnstown, PA, all because we found parking right in front. As we were each finishing half our sandwiches(yes, we took the other halves for a hotel room midnight snack!) the very friendly Jim went over to sit with some arriving guests! «Gotta go», he said with a big smile, «that’s Mom!» If you go there, tell him the guys from California said«Hi!», and for goodness sake, get the Philly Cheesesteak! P. S. The fries and cole slaw that came with the sandwich were also fresh and super delicious. I wish my town had a Rocco’s!

these subs are amazing! if you have ever been to the white house in atlantic city these are the same exact subs. they also have the best cheeseburger i have ever tasted. they use buttered martin potato rolls for their buns this place is all about quality you can taste it in their product. they get their bread delivered from atlantic city which makes the best italian bread in the world and all their meats and cheeses come from dellalo italian meats. if ever you ever get the chance stop in you wont regret it!
