Visited on the first weekend of fall as part of a cider donut tasting tour. The donuts you can skip. They finished fifth out of 5 due to small size, undistinguished taste and texture and probably(though we were told not to mark down for this) the fact they were the only donut that was sitting on a shelf instead of served hot from the fryer. But, everything else about Rogers is above par if you’re looking for that fall orchard you-pick experience. They were the only place that looked like a real, working farm with tractors moving back and forth(at a safe difference from the kids) and a busy cider bottling operation out in the open. They also had a horseback ride(I saw a string of ponies disappearing into a distant wood) which looks like it would be a lot of fun.

Lots and lots of trees to pick from. Varieties well-marked. Prices were quite reasonable for a large amount of apples. Pumpkins were meh, due to wet summer and fall. Overall, a lot of fun – if they sold drinks and snacks other than apple cider and apples, they’d make more money.
