If every other hotel in the area wasn’t already booked up… ugh… I guess it was better than sleeping in my car. But I couldn’t get any sleep with the excessively loud AC unit that would kick on randomly throughout the night. I could barely get clean in the shower with NOHOTWATER!!! Yet the sink was able to produce scalding hot water… go figure… Oh, what else… – Thread-bare towels. – Little to no security. There’s a side door that has a sign stating it will be locked after 11pm, but was clearly not when I came in at nearly 2am. – Weird, clunky USB-style door keys that randomly stop working. Getting back to the hotel around 2am, my key wouldn’t even register for my room, so I had to knock until my girlfriend woke up to let me in. My grandfather’s key wouldn’t work for his room either, it would just beep and flash green but wouldn’t unlatch to let him in. – Paper-thin walls. You can hear EVERYTHING going on in other rooms, so I’m sure we woke up half the other inmates/guests when we couldn’t get into our rooms in the middle of the night. I could go on, but what’s the point??? Just find somewhere else to stay. You couldn’t pay me to stay here again…

There aren’t many options in this area, and we did use priceline, but never again. The staff is truly horrible and treat you like you are bothering them by staying here. Check in was listed as 2PM, but we(and others) were turned away at 230. During our stay, the tub was clogged and water wouldn’t drain during showers, but they refused to fix it. The phone wouldn’t work to call the front desk, and they said there’s only one line so walk down if you need something. Bottom line, you get what you pay for!

There was nothing outstanding or terrible about this place. Overall, it’s a tad dated, but clean. The room had a newer TV, an older but functional fridge, a very old microwave. After reading reviews, we skipped the breakfast bar, so these were appreciated. I was excited that the place included wifi — but this is where they start to loose stars. Wifi is free and no password needed according to the in room brochure– but after 15 minutes of trying to find the«free» wifi(there are 6 wifi signals labeled Super 8) I called the front desk. Turns out, you do need a password. After logging in, it was reasonably fast… when it was connected. i had to constant(like once every 5 minutes) disconnect and reconnect to get it to work. The other +/-star was late check out. When confirming my room the morning we were driving up, I asked for late check out. I was told 1pm was the latest, and requested it. We had a race, and wouldn’t even be done running til 11, so this was perfect. Upon checking in, I was first told we didn’t have late check out. Then, that 12 was the latest. We pushed back, and got our 1pm check out… but after reading the reviews, that almost seems to be standard practice. Over-all, not a bad place, just nothing great. if they got a better late check out system going and fixed the wifi, it would be solid 3 stars.

We had the absolute worst experience at this hotel this weekend. The walls are paper thin and the rooms are connected to eachother by a door. We could hear every word our neighbors were saying, we could hear what they were watching on tv, we could hear them having sex. I was woken up early in the morning by the sound of people yelling in the hallway. Shortly after I attempted to go back to sleep and the fire alarm started going off. Breakfast is hostess mini donuts, cereal, and microwave waffles. Someone was smoking in their room at some point in the day and our room began to reek of it, not to mention there were people smoking weed outside the building when we left around 9 pm. The tub is extremely creaky and you have to stand very still the entire time to avoid disturbing the people below you. They also only supply shampoo and soap. No conditioner or lotion. Luckily I had some conditioner leftover from another hotel I recently stayed in. We tried to check out early and cancel our 2nd night and they said it was fine and we would not be charged for 2 nights. We carried ALL of our belongings out to the car and then went to check out. We were then told that we could NOT check out early and we would be charged for 2 nights. The girl said«whoops, I thought you were asking if you would be charged for tomorrow night!» We asked her to call the manager to be sure since we were already told otherwise and the manager REFUSED to let us cancel so we had to carry all of our belongings back in again. Great customer service. The girl said she would give us late checkout(1:30 pm) for our trouble. Around 11:30 am, I’m laying in bed and I get a call from the front desk asking if we are extending another night because checkout is at 11. I explained what happened and that we were told we could check out at 1:30. The girl knew nothing about it and explained that the latest they could do was 12:30. She finally agreed to let us have until 1:30 since that’s what we were originally told but she explained that the maids really needed to get in there to start cleaning. By this point I was ready to leave so we ended up packing up the car and checking out right away. This was the worst experience I’ve ever had in a hotel. I wish I could give 0 stars.

Not the best of the super 8’s I have stayed at but certainly not the worst. The beds are quite firm and there is no breakfast served but this is Super 8… Overall it was not bad for a one night stay but anymore and it might have been less bearable
