Just a normal, adequate movie theater. I’ve gone here here with some frequency for the entirety of my childhood through teenaged years and have always had a positive experience.

I had a weird experience here when my family visited the area. We walked up to the desk and were looking at showtimes during the day with my excited little daughter in tow. Saw there were a few afternoon showings, waved at the nice staff lady working there, then jetted out to lunch, with a plan to come back for an early afternoon showing. We get there later on to buy tickets and it looks as if the movieplex is open – lights on, everything running, and two«kids” – certainly teenagers tell us they are closed. Apparently they were open for a school field trip(…no kids in sight or buses in the two times we stopped by that afternoon?) and not showing any movies because they weren’t in «summer hours.» This would’ve been perfectly ok to me if 1.) we hadn’t just been there two hours ago clearly looking at the movie times – hey, kids, might want to get up and do your job and let people know you are not open 2.) The sign they have clearly out front says there is afternoon showings and mentions nothing about«summer hours» or whatever. 3.) Something sort of does not seem«right.» I mean, it just would’ve made far more common sense if people are looking at your posted show times, to mention to them that YOUARENOTOPEN despite the fact that all of the lights are on, the gate is up, and you’re standing behind the counter. I just think that these people clearly are not into running a business. It is also a very run-down movie theater. You notice when you sit down in the threater-seats broken, haven’t been cleaned since 1970, etc.
