This is a cool place under the joliet metra station. Not to fond of the questionable loiters outside the place at night, but as long as they don’t come in the bar. It has a nice little stage for acoustic and bands. They spent some money transforming underneath a train station into a nice bar.

Great local bar — love the atmosphere of this place! Nice comfy seats– local up and coming bands! sports nites!
Went to Bar Blu last weekend– and am heading back AGAIN tonite to hear a new local band called Chasing Amy. They are suppose to be the next big thing. Love how local places like Bar Blu are getting local talent — there well deserved time!
Hope I have another great review to write after tonite!
Id highly suggest if your wondering how to spend your rainy Saturday in the ‘burbs– hit Bar Blu tonite! You wont be disappointed.
