This is a monster hobby shop with literally anything you could want from the hobby world, and everybody was friendly and helpful… Will be going back there for future hobby needs

Great selection of gear but phone service quality is severely lacking. I was left with the impression that there was no concern or desire for my business. It was bad enough to leave a lasting impression.

I’ve been a long time customer here. I’ve bought everything from role playing supplies, to figures and models, to batteries for Airsoft and RC. Everyone there is always helpful and talkative, and you can really tell they know what they’re talking about and that they love the hobby as much as you. Larry is always ready to recommend new supplies, and he’s my go-​to employee here!

I’ve purchased 5 airplanes from Leasure hours hobbies over the last year, and countless repair parts, batteries, chargers, etc. The staff has always been friendly and helpful.
The first airplane I purchased was a Flyzone select scale cessna 182 rtf. A few days later as I was learning about this hobby, I discovered the airplane I purchased must have been sitting on the shelf for a couple of years. The one I bought came with an fm radio system, even though I paid the same price as the 2.4 systems that had been out for more than a year and a half.
Out of the 5 airplanes I purchased, I did ask them to price match one of them, and they were happy to do it.
Tonight, I wanted to purchase 3 airplanes that Horizon Hobbies had on sale. I called the store before driving 45 minutes and asked if they would price match. I was told that if it was a Horizon Hobbies deal, they would price match. When I arrived and tried to make my purchase I was told that they couldn’t match the prices. I said that I had called to make sure. I was then told that if the prices were «reasonable» they would have matched them. I asked if they recognized me because I am in there a lot, and the guy said, «yea, you’re always having me price match stuff».
I’ll be returning the items I purchased there last week. The whole reason I go there instead of ordering online, is for customer service and to support my local hobby store. I see no reason to do that when they have no problems lying to me on the phone, and complaining about me wanting to pay the manufacturer’s sale price. I’m done.

Everyone is super helpful here and is always willing to lend you some tools.
I’ve spent about $ 1200 here on 3 cars and parts and batteries. I first went here when I got into the hobby and haven’t looked back.

Best shop for all of your hobbies! Hands down! They have a huge selection and are always very helpful. I bought my husband some darts for his birthday and he loved them. He remembered getting parts for his RC cars there when he was a kid. Hope they’re around forever. Awesome local shop.

This place is packed full of stuff from trains to RC cars and everything in between. The prices are pretty good. You might have to wait a bit for help in the RC car section but they definitely seem to know what thy’re talking about.

These guys are alway happy to help and have a great selection. Good prices too. If they don’t have the best price, they’ll match it. This is how it’s done.
