While everyone at Rick’s smiles and is very polite, it is by far the worst company I have ever dealt with. I purchased a camper from them and had nothing but problems from day one. Not only were they unable to fix my issues, they put me in danger by lying about it. I had a blown out tire and the top of my pop up lifted up while driving. I brought it back to them and they said they fixed it. They did not and it happened again. When I brought it back AGAIN they finally decided to replace the latches. When I came to pick it up it was STILL incorrect and I had to show the manager why. He agreed with me and fixed it for the 3^rd time. They lost the keys to my camper, which they tried to tell me that I had never given them. They finally made me a new set. They lost the latch that secured the slide out and never told me. I found out AFTER I had driven home. When I took the camper on a trip 1 month later (1^st time opening it since I had picked it up) I discovered my keys on the floor in the very back of the camper, the latch for the slide out inside the camper on the floor, (why??) and I discovered that they had completely broken the track that permanently secures the canvas to the top of the hard wall of the camper. Had it been broken and pieces of the track been all over the cushions, that would have been one thing. A possible mistake. BUT they cleaned up all the pieces of the broken track! They deliberately tried to hide the fact that they broke my camper while it was in their shop! They left me with a completely useless pop up and never told me. I had no way to close up the camper. I have never in my life dealt with a more dishonest company.

These guy’s are the absolute best in the business. I’ve been an avid camping guy for 25years plus, I’ve owned everything from $ 50.00 tents to 3 different travel trailers and now I’m on my 3^rd fifth wheel that sells for over $ 85,000 that’s just amazing and likely one of if not the best 5^th wheel Ive ever looked at. I bought a used travel trailer from Ricks RV in the past and it was an awesome experience and in my opinion these guys are the best, Dave, Paul, Jim and even Rick himself have dealt with me every single step of the way from looking at the huge used trailer inventory to making the deals from start to finish. When it comes to parts and accessories, their parts department is second to none, they have tons of cool stuff to look at to repair your existing trailer or just add some fun stuff just because you want to. If your unable to find what your looking for, the parts staff is very knowledgeable and willing to help.
Now onto the service area, professional all the way, the staff that works that area from the counter help to the repair area, knowledge is key to any service and these folks seem own the key ring, Ive had service done there from the simplest of repairs to removing and replacing central air conditioning units and removing and replacing the fireplace in my new 5^th wheel because of a manufacturing fault at the factory where the fireplace was built, these guys did my central air unit in 1 day while they were in the super busy camping season, I dropped it off in the morning, they checked the problem and had it fixed the same day because I was taking my family out of town that day, customer satisfaction is paramount to Rick’s so they got us done, Now that’s GREAT SERVICE! Bottom line is this, If your is looking for a great deal on a good used trailer or just want to get something cool and shiny new, Ricks is the only place I’m ever going to do business with bar none!!!

Brian’s a low pressure sales guy that was very thorough and patient in educating us on our first rv purchase. The service guys are great too from the initial demo when we picked up the popup to getting the wiring redone on the truck. Overall, the entire experience with Ricks RV was positive. I highly recommend them for your RV purchase. I recommend staying clear of their competitor in Mokena!!! My experience in Mokena was not good at all!
