Tortilleria Supermercado Gonzalez

Was getting hungry at the light of Collins and Columbia when I saw «tacos» on the bottom of the sign for this grocery store, I decided to go in since I like trying new places.
I’d say its probably the biggest Mexican grocery store in town, they had quite the selection. They had a buffet-​style booth in the middle of the store where you can take prepared foods with you. They even had Menudo! While looking for where I can get some tacos, in front of the registers, I see people walking out with tacos in hand.
I was disappointed that they only offered 1 type of taco (al vapor, $ 1.50), torta (also only al vapor, $ 4.00) and 2 other things, nothing else. The lady there claimed to not speak English but, there was no communication problems. I ended up getting 3 tacos and the lady only took cash. I’ll save you the trouble of googling «al vapor,» its steamed shredded beef.
Very good by the way. Meat tasted fresh and the green hot sauce and included lime juice made me wishing that I got more than 3. Tacos here were better than most of the places I’ve gotten carry out from.
