I called Zippy Shell when my moving dates didn’t quite line up– we were displaced for over a week and were scrambling to find a storage solution at the very last moment. Jim at Zippy Shell saved us. We needed something FAST, and didn’t have anywhere to store a unit ourselves. Zippy Shell was the perfect solution for us. Jim was so easy to work with– a simple text message for pick up/​drop off; he responded quickly and was able to accommodate every request. He even dropped off a second storage unit for us late in the evening when we realized we needed more space.
I would recommend him to anyone moving– whether into a new home, moving kids to college, or in need of a storage solution.

We recently sold our home and had to be out prior to our new move in date. Not sure of what we were going to do, someone recommended we get a pod. Great idea! I called many pod companies. The price seemed a little steep to me and there seemed to be charges for this that and the other. But that is what we needed so we were going to have to do it. Until one day I was driving to work and I looked over and saw a Zippy Shell. I hadn’t heard about them before. So I called on my lunch break to inquire on price. The woman I spoke with was so kind and informative. She quoted me a cost for drop off/​pick up and storage. No hidden fees. It was a little last minute when I called and she said I should reserve my time now to hold my spot and that if for any reason I needed to cancel I just had to call with no cancellation fee. Jim from Zippy Shell in Will County called me and we discussed what I needed. We set up a time and date for delivery. We were able to fill our pod in a weekend. He then made sure we had all the time we needed and set up a time to pick up the pod and take it to their storage unit which is locked with alarm system, and is climate and pest controlled. I let Jim know our move in date and he had our pod at our new home ready for us to unload. The process was so incredibly easy especially during such a stressful and exhausting time. I would HIGHLY recommend Zippy Shell. It will be the easiest part of your move and you won’t regret it!
