Horrible food. Everything is so old or horrible quality. One of the waitresses kept giving dirty looks. Won’t go back ever. Not unless they change their practices. One upside, the gentleman that served us was very professional.

Food, service, and atomsphere is great! Came on Thanksgiving day. and yes they were busy, but our waitress was quick, and there for refills on drinks in no time. The buffet was never a mess, even with a full house! The food was amazing… peroid! Ill be back with the family again!

I liked this atmosphere and the food. The only reason for the 3 stars is the horrible customer service. We were already eating when we got our drinks, had to ask for silverware, and the ticket came way after my room mate and I had finished eating. The real downer was the fact that we were one of maybe five sets of people. I would hate to see the customer service on a busy day.

Here in Arkansas on vacation. Barnhill seems to be the ‘happening’ country buffet. I really enjoyed the food especially the salad bar. I’m not really a fan of buffet’s anyway but this one was nice. The price wasn’t bad, 4 ppl ate for around $ 38. My family raved over the catfish, I wouldnt know good from bad just because im allergic. But overall we had a good dining experience.

Restaurant Management 101 Pop Quiz: you are losing business in a growing market using a time-tested formula as a country-style buffet. Do you: a.) Offer more variety and higher quality to entice customers; b.) Lower prices to emphasize value; c.) Raise prices and offer lower quality food with fewer choices If you are Barnhill’s(a restuarant whose overseers were probably fired from Taco Bell for not meeting their high quality standards) the answer is C. I haven’t eaten here in several years, and I am confident I’ll never go back. The food is sub-par, and every vegetable on the buffet tastes like it came from a can. The fried chicken is clearly frozen and then baked, and the carving station – which used to be the centerpiece of what was a pretty good buffet back in the day – now is home to a tray of Swedish meatballs(!) on a Saturday night. Most outrageous are the prices. For two people, this crap cost $ 25, and that was with a senior discount for one person! $ 9.99 for the buffet, plus $ 1.79 for a drink, and we were left agog at how much the dining experience has declined. It was most definitely NOT worth the money and we will not be going back. I have my doubts that this place will be operational much longer, given how deserted the dining room was on a Saturday night(of a holiday weekend, no less.) The one bright spot was the friendly and attentive wait staff. This is a buffet, so they do little more than clear the table and bring you drinks, but they do try to make your dining experience more pleasant. I wish I could say the same for whoever plans the menu and purchases the food at this lackluster grease pit.
