Cool old home with great coffee and made to order breakfast. I’ll be back again on my next business trip.

Cute café on ASU campus. They have quite a few soups and you can get a soup sampler. The kale, potato, and sausage one was really good.

Love the Edge! Very good food and great atmosphere for Jonesboro. Now, if they could get beer…

I started going to edge since 2013 fall. It is a great place to hangout with friends and sip a cup of coffee. About the food it used to be really good until they degraded a little bit. Apart from that love edge

+ amazing staff! (they are all so friendly and easy-going, it feels like a big family after a while) + great coffee! (I don’t care about all the syrups, and they have only a small espresso-machine, but it does the job and most of the staff now exactly how to handle it.) + great sandwiches & bagels! (with mostly fresh and selfmade salads and veggies. open to special orders.) + close distance to campus (or pretty much on campus. I could walk their for lunch) + friendly mix of guests (locals of all ages and always some international students) + They serve their menu around the clock until nine. (unfortunately no extra dinner-menu) o only little variety in the menu (I went there up to 5 times a week, so it was partly on me) o barkery-sweets and cakes are mostly not selfmade and fresh (tastes still good, but would have been nice, if they made them themselves) o the outdoor-area and the whole place could have been taken care of a little better (but then again it is part of the authentic atmosphere, so I don’t want to be too picky) — unfortunately they are not licensed to serve alcohol :( (a glas of wine or a cold beer on the front porch would have been perfect) Overall this was the best place in Jonesboro for me. I might not have survived this fast-food /«casual-dining» dominated small town without the Edge :)

It’s not bad. It’s not a favorite in terms of food or atmosphere, but it’s quaint and serviceable. It has it’s own niche as no other place in town has its offerings.

What a great find. A total legit coffee house. I felt like I was in the village in NYC. Their lunch menu has some of the best sandwiches in town. Coffee is great and they have a smoking section

Of course this is the best coffee house option in Jonesboro; it being pretty much the only locally owned place in town, you’d think Ann and Robert would get lazy and let this place go to pot, but no, their food and atmosphere are great, and Ann has *always* been incredibly liberal about groups and performers using the space however they please. Ann let kids play loud music here long before there was ever anything happening downtown or what hav you. Thanks Ann! I’m writing this review though to let it be known that the coffee here is not good! It’s bad coffee! So bad that they really shouldn’t put«coffee house» in the title! What to do, then? Go by Shadrach’s drive-through and get some excellent locally roasted pour-over to-go, and take it to The Edge, where you should order food or dessert and then have a seat! The coffee’s crap, everything else is great! #ImFromJonesboroAndIKnowWhatImTalkingAbout

As a college town, it’s odd that Jonesboro has so few quality café options. The Edge is certainly one of the best around. Free WiFi, friendly«mom and pop» staff and owners, decent coffee. There’s quite an eclectic assortment of tables and chairs, including a few on the outside porch and on the grass. I’ve spent hours at a time here in the past and noone seemed to mind. As far as food goes, I’m impressed. Solid sandwiches, good desserts, and a surprisingly creative menu. If you’re looking for a cozy place to study and are tired of the library, I’d certainly recommend The Edge.

Great atmosphere. Friendly people… just a relaxing place. The Edge refers to its location on the edge of the A-State campus. It’s an older brick house with eclectic mismatch of tables and furniture. Wifi and rusty ceiling fans swaying make for a neat blend of times. Iced Americano is just ok but it’s more about atmosphere than barista skills here.

Yum! I’m in town for 2 nights & wanted a non-Starbucks coffershops experience. This place is perfect! I had the east of Eden wrap(avocado, tomato, cucumber, sprouts, pesto mayo), a cup of tomato dill soup and a specialty drink… I can’t recall the name, but it involved espresso & chai so you can’t really go wrong. Also, these crackers they give you with the soup are crack. They were nice enough to give me the recipe, which is so easy. Go here, now!

In a town with very few local options, this is a favorite of mine. The atmosphere is exacly my favorite type: mismatched furniture in an old house, with real porcelain cups & saucers. There are stained glass artworks hanging in the windows. There’s a GREAT porch with patio furniture, & on a nice day you wouldn’t catch me sitting anywhere but outside. The coffee is good. Great drinks with lots of options you won’t find in Starbucks. My favorite is the Café Leo, which is a latte flavored with honey, vanilla, & allspice. The soups & sandwiches are great. My favorite sandwich is & always will be The Hobbit! Nice crispy bacon, sprouts, sun-dried tomatoes, & avocado. The best of the soups might be the white beans & ham, or maybe the black bean, which has a bit of spicy kick. They serve these delightful little spicy seasoned crackers with the soups, too! The bakery case is always full of delicious goodies; the pie(pick a flavor, any flavor!) is a particular standout. Man. Now I want a piece of pie & a cup of coffee! The only complaint I have about the Edge is that sometimes its insanely loud. Lots of people choose to have lunch meetings there, so you have people involved in conversation at every table. Some tables are playing the board games they have around, & sometimes there are people playing the piano. I suppose I should expect this of a coffee house on the edge of a major college campus, but sometimes it’s very overwhelming.
