Adorable décor, friendly and knowledgeable staff, and genuinely good food. Delightful lunch spot that looks like it’s probably a pretty good night spot as well. We stopped for lunch and my co-worker had the prime rib wrap with fries… she was very satisfied. She said it had sauteed onions, peppers, mushrooms and cheese and the meat was excellent. She expected it to be dry but said it was perfect. I had the blue plate special: the meatloaf with mashed potatoes and baked beans. It was all pretty fast and cooked just right. Service was spot on. I would highly recommend.

Oh Godsey’s what has happened to you?! You were once a thriving, delicious place and now, there are no words. That Hog Wild dip that was at one time incredible, is now pale in comparison to the original. I ordered the California Club Wrap. It is supposed to have grilled chicken wrapped in a tortilla. For some reason my portion had cold pork in the middle? The tortilla had been cooked or something for way too long. So, instead of a wrap, when you bit into the tortilla, it was crispy and would flake apart all over the plate. I had to send it back because it was so bad. My husband ordered the Cristo, it was only ok. The fries he had to send back because there was zero flavor. How do you mess up fries?! I was so excited to see you were opening another location. Unfortunately now, I will never try it. This was a terrible experience.

Good food, friendly staff and interesting décor. The bar is made from some kind of tree with a rustic somewhat unfinished looked is really cool. I will return next time I am in town.

Service was excellent, very friendly and competent. The food was mixed. Fried green beans are out of this world, highly recommend. I got a burger, which was ok, but the patty was small and needed some seasoning. Also got a pizza which was good, but a bit doughy, but that’s some people’s preference. BBQ nachos were alright, not a fan of baked beans but again, just a preference. Prices are fair and the staff is A+!

Their menu states they serve Chicken and Dumplings. It forgets to mention they are straight from a can. So disappointing. Not the Sweet Sue’s aren’t ok, but that can chicken needs to go.

Good food luke warm beers. Uncomfortable staff. Mostly semi-depressed hipsters. Arguably not a straight person in the building.

This was the first restaurant I ate at coming to jonesboro. I ordered the Philly cheesesteak and fries. It was delicious however the bread that they used wasn’t very sturdy. I’m used to eating it with hoagie bread and cheese whiz like they do in Philadelphia where I’m from. The nachos and hummus appetizers were delicious. If I had to choose one, I would go for the nachos. I enjoyed the live music and the atmosphere. I will definitely come back.

Great atmosphere, fun servers, and delicious food! I visit this place quite often for lunch when I’m in Jonesboro and absolutely love it. The pig sooiee burger, with jalapeños of course, is fantastic with a smooth dark beer. The homemade sides provide a great touch as well. Drop by, I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.

Great bar/restaurant with really good service and music. Visited with a local on a business trip and we were all really happy with our food and selection of local beers.

We loved our meal here. We are not locals, but we stopped in anyway without really knowing what to expect. Completely impressed. Food was all delicious and thoughtful and staff was friendly.

We have been here several times and absolutely loved it. The atmosphere and the food are awesome. We have not have bad service. Our glasses never run dry and the servers had smiles on their faces while doing their jobs.

I was very glad I found that place! + very lively and familiar atmosphere(I like sitting in a booth). + food was better than I expected(try Burger and sweet potato fries) + Pizza was outstanding(freshly made dough) + Good variety of beer and drinks(Don’t hesitate to ask the guys behind the bar for a recommendation) + Prices are fair for what you get + Service was friendly and authentic(not just unmotivated college-kids) — closing time appeared to be based less on actual time, but more on how the staff feels.(We politely asked, if we had enough time to order another round of drinks. Waitress said yes, then even before everyone had their drink, they started putting up the chairs on the tables around us)

Love their dip. It’s awesome. I have noticed the atmosphere has not been quite the same lately. Maybe new ownership. Or maybe that time of the year. But overall great food!!!

Lunch on Saturday. Service was good. We ordered fried pickles up front — they were tasty and not too salty. I got a Greek side salad next and it was good with a lot of feta cheese on top — some of the lettuce was a little brown. Our Mushroom Swiss burger was next — we asked for medium rare — we got well done. The accompanying onion rings seemed freshly made and were tasty. This place could have gotten four stars had they not over cooked our burger.

It was my first time going so I had no real expectations but I wasn’t impressed or disappointed. We start off looking at the appetizers and see where you can create your own. It says to choose three and for some reason they had the options listed in two separate areas of the menu? We say that we want the onion blossom, fried green beans and fries. For some reasons the onion blossom wasn’t an option even though it was listed? And our waitress says we have to order four… even though the menu clearly says three. Whatever we changed to onion rings and got a double of the green beans(should have doubled the onion rings because they were the best.) I order a cheese stay with fries onions and cheese only with a side of sweet potato fries. A little while later our waitress comes out to say they don’t have the fried onions anymore but they can put an onion ring on it… okay? So the food comes out and it was actually really good. The meat was flavored well unlike some cheesesteaks sandwiches I’ve had. I tried a bite of my mom’s Twisted Pig and the pretzel bun was amazing. Overall I don’t know if we’ll go back anytime soon. They really need to update their menu to avoid the confusion but the food is good so I’d say give it a try.

Stopped by for the first time after reading the reviews and was happy we did! Took the reccomedation to try the Hog Wild Dip and yes it is AMAZING! Craving it now just thinking about it! We both ordered burgers which come with their homemade chips but we swapped them out and upgraded to orings since we already had our fill of chips that come with the dip. Burgers were juicy and had great flavor. I can’t remember the name of the one I got but it had bacon and blue cheese. Atmosphere here is really cool as it is downtown and in an old building. Exposed brick walls and a few TVs. It is smaller inside than what I expected but we went at an early dinner time so there wasn’t a wait. However I can bet it gets packed during football games or Fri/Sat nights. Overall good experience and we will be back for sure!

Very good food, fun atmosphere. Favorites: Hog Wild Dip, Twisted Pig sandwich, Kickin’ Chicken sandwich, and the Nacho Macho Burger(there are fries and ham on it!). Pizzas are also good.

Good food! I actually liked the goober burger, the one with the peanut butter sauce. It was actually pretty good. Good service. Locally owned and run. And great friendly service! The weak attempts at having live music doesn’t quite work, though. It’s not the venue to try that.

Godsey’s in an established spot on Main Street and one of only a couple places open for lunch. Most things on the menu are good and I am a fan, however it is not«great». I hate to hold back a star however everything I have had somehow just misses the mark. I write this with the hope they will make some positive changes in the kitchen. Jonesboro needs better food, downtown already looks cool, someone needs to make it taste great. Godsey’s could make a smooth transition to gastropub.(Little Rock has places like the Big Orange, why can’t Jonesboro?) Service is friendly and really great, I just wish they had more to offer. I am confident they will bring it! Hoping to revise this review shortly.

The food is amazing here which makes up for the mediocre service. Normally get the Kickin Chicken or Twisted Turkey and it’s always been great. The Hog Wild dip is an appetizer you should try at least once! Nice atmosphere and the drinks are always made well. Whenever we have friends in town, we usually make a dinner stop here.
