The serene atmosphere makes for a great evening out. The service is supreme and the fresh array of foods makes for a fun outing. Newks at Hilltop in Jonesboro, Ar. Serves the best salads around. Their specialty pizzas’ s are made fresh upon order.
And store design makes eating there an enjoyment.

I really hate to be the first one to give 3 stars. I had my first visit with my husband on Sunday.
My Turkey sandwich wasn’t very good. It had a very weird taste. I ended up tasting the turkey by itself and it certainly was the taste of the turkey that had the weird flavor. On the plus side, service was friendly.
My husband had the BBQ chicken pizza and he compared it to Cici’s pizza. It was very limp when he picked up each slice. A good pizza slice shouldn’t fall to the table when you pick it up.
I really enjoyed the toppings bar. The roasted garlic made my sandwich edible.
I think I’ll give Newk’s another try but if it doesn’t deliver on the second try, I think I’d rather just go to Panera bread. I really want to update this review to more stars but we’ll see.

Fresh and fast! Traveled a long way today and the PoBoy and Mac n Cheese hot the stop! Friendly service and great food selection.

I’ve eaten here a handful of times now and not once have I ever had anything that I didn’t enjoy. Their portions are generous, especially the salads! The service was quick and friendly. I enjoy the small condiment section in the middle of the restaurant where you are able to get all sort of additions for your meal, for free! The price was incredibly reasonable, especially for the portion size. I’ve had several of their salads and my husband enjoys their Italian sandwich and their yummy Mac & cheese. It’s a great stop for lunch or dinner!

Eh… Mediocre food. The Caesar was over-​dressed, the sandwich was all bread, no substance. The locals seem to like it though, good enough for this weird town. Won’t be back

I had lunch here with a friend for the first time last Sunday and it’s going to be a regular stop now. I had the Greek Salad (which was huge, 2 people could have ate it) and the Italian sandwich, and my friend had the combo Shrimp Po’Boy and Crawfish and Pepperjack soup. We both liked our meals. The Greek salad needs to have the feta crumbled, not in small blocks like it was. They could also slice the red onion thinner and slice the tomatoes. It did have kalamata olives, which was a big plus around here. The Italian sandwich was great. Better than any deli sandwich you’re going to get in Jonesboro by far. Good toasted bread with a spicy creole sauce and hot cherry peppers that really made it good. The service was quick and friendly, and the prices were reasonable.

This is one of our regular places to eat in Jonesboro. I love to get the salads which are always prepared fresh! They make them right up in front in the open kitchen and will customize if you want to alter you choice. My favorite is the Newks Favorite with chicken, pecans, grapes, cheese, and artichokes. My husband loves the Bbq Chicken Pizza. Staff is always friendly and we had never been disappointed. Perfect sweet tea, too!

Great food and great service. Right when you walk in, there is someone to take your order. Their sandwiches are good, and their pizzas are better. The food is fresh and the service is great. Their drinks are well priced and come in a large cup!

Decent food. Friendly service. The sandwiches are pretty good, though no better than other good deli places. Soups are pretty good too! You get a good bit in the smaller cup of soup.
They have real jazz playing in there!

As always great food. Fast service. Very clean restaurant. Nothing chain or fast food about these eateries. Newk’s has quickly become one of my favorite lunch spots. Fresh salads and great soup. Kids menu is awesome. Mac n Cheese is the BEST!!!
