OfficeMax/​OfficeDepot? Don’t fret.. thanks to lawyers it’s now the same company!
I’m not sure how these folks do it, pricing on some items [especially on sale] rivals the biggest deep discount online retailers, (ahem.. . Amazon) but they had to buy, ship and warehouse this stuff long before sale.
Here’s my favorite thing. Very often I will receive a last second notice to ship something somewhere and I don’t travel with a printer 24⁄7. OfficeMax to the rescue! Armed with a USB drive and a scant 11 cents a page.. .print whatever you need at a self serve document center all day long!
Always a good selection of deep discount clearance items and a helpful staff. (The only thing I am not certain of it their computer service center reputation).

CUSTOMER SERVICE was the best Ive ever seen in an office supplies store. I used to work at Staples so I have been on both ends of the situation. The woman walked around the store to help me find everything that I needed after I had two people offer to help me. She knew exactly where everything was, and had a friendly attitude about it.
There were people waiting in the checkout line when I got there and another worker came to another register. Another wonderful act of great customer service. This probably means more to me than most because of me having worked in an office supplies store myself.
If I need anything office, here is where I will go.
