Super 8 Jonesboro

This place is pretty much a dump but I’m giving it three stars and here’s why…
The lobby looks like it hasn’t been redone since the 70s. Got my key, which amazingly was electronic, and headed to my room. On my way upstairs I walked by the laundry room (not the public one) and there were Bud Light cans all over the floor.
The hallway smelled like stale smoke and at this point I was pretty sure I would not be staying. But when I opened the door to my room I was shocked — it was actually nice! No smoke smell, clean, and the bed was incredibly comfortable! Add this to the friendly staff and easy location and it was worth the very low price.
If you’re picky definitely avoid, but for people like me whose only requirement is a clean room it was fine.
