Awesome time for little money!!! I took my two nephews there today and we loved it! The beach was clean, it wasn’t crowded, and they loved the slides! You can’t beat the price… I almost forgot that I wasn’t at some big time tourist beach! We will be going all summer long!

We attended the Funk Fest 2013 and here is what I have to say… This place suck big time! Nasty, Nasty, NASTY is all that comes to my mind when I think of this place. Nasty, funky port-o-potties(however you spell that), trash ALLOVER The place, unfinished sodding which means red GA clay mud all over your feet, shoes and legs. This place is horrible. I will not be returning unless I am sitting ON or right in front of the stage, OR unless they completely renovate this place. This is the ghetto/run-down version of Chastain Park. Not only that, you aren’t told that your seating is «first come first served» when you purchase your tickets. We attended the Funk Fest on May 18th and people were trying to hold seats for over 45 mins… come on really? These people sold more tickets than they had seats. Drinks were over priced… I’ll stop here since all I have are complaints. One more thing… we were told AFTER purchasing tickets that we could bring our own drinks/food…well they confiscated the drinks I had in my bag. Piss poor place is all I have to say. Too bad I can’t rate this place a big fat goose egg. Ok, ONE more… and the parking was horrendous. We went ahead to the front/VIP Parking which was $ 30…just to give an idea of pricing for that. ***I would like to note that this place was actually Wolf Creek Amphitheater. I vowed to never return to any events being held there, but was told that later on they moved all acts to the adjacent stage from where it was situated in 2013. The grounds where all cemented, the seats were actual seats and not plain lawn chairs. This place is pretty big and has several stage areas.
