As good as fast food can be, which is limited I know. Food was hot and fresh. It’ll do in a pinch, but not worth writing home about.

Consistently good chicken cooked in the southern United States tradition. Fried, y’all! Dine-in, take-out, or drive-through. But do it with a hyphen. Prices can be a bit high depending on what you order or combine. Cajun and«regular» options, good sides, but the pieces de resistance are surely the BoBerry Biscuits. ZOMGNOMNOMNOM, these little delicacies are the stuff dreams are made of. Yes I just ended a sentence in a preposition. Deal with it. My head’s all cloudy from having Bojangles BBBs for breakfast. Once you eat a Boberry biscuit you’ll likely want to go to the nearest chain donut shop and buy one just to spit on it and throw it away. But that’s really not necessary. Donuts have their place and I’m all for peace and tolerance among breakfast pastries. Which reminds me. BoBerry Biscuits are good any time of day. Shortly after the Jonesborough Bojangles opened, I was in the short serpentine line at the counter and heard two women with pronounced southern accents(my favorite!) fussing about the quality of the biscuits made by another woman. I mean you know you are in for some good food when your visit starts this way. This one has wifi, is usually quiet, and is the kind of atmosphere I used to love to study in during the college years. Part coffee shop and old-man checkers meeting and part stereotypical fast food franchise joint.

The first time I had Bojangles’ was when I was visiting a friend in North Carolina almost four years ago.(I live in Ohio*.) Ever since then, I have been craving those delicious biscuits and sweet tea. Well, on a recent business trip to Tennessee, I came across my second Bojangles’ and I had to stop and have some. The restaurant appeared clean and the service was fast. I don’t think their chicken stands out as being stellar(I just don’t think it’s unique), but their biscuits and sweet tea are the best. I highly recommend making a stop at Bojangles’ if you’re not from the South and want to partake in southern fast food. * It’s a good thing there are no Bojangles’ in Ohio, otherwise, I might weight 300 pounds. Oh yeah, and the only way I knew this Bojangles’ was nearby was using the Unilocal app on my iPhone.
