A wire was bonded to back of my teeth on July 16, 2012 by Dr Cales in Joplin. I moved to PA next day. While traveling on July 17 I bit into a biscuit, felt something crunchy. Spit it out, the crunchy was bonding adhesive. Then seconds later realized wire was Gone! I called to his office right away, was told to go to ER. X-ray could not see a wire, but I never identified it on my plate. I had no bonding adhesive left on ANY of the tooth surfaces. I believe that after only 23 hours of wear, the bonding was faulty and completely fell off my teeth. I had an identical procedure 15 years ago, wore the wire successfully for 14 years when I had it removed. I sent Dr Cales the bills from the ER I had to go to while travelling alone, strange town etc. moving due to Tornado . I have no insurance . The bills total about $ 800 and would be an extreme hardship FINALLY I had to call them, they refuse to stand behind their work and pay my ER bill. I had no choice but to be x-rayed. The shoddy workmanship is at issue here and he REFUSES to stand behind it!
