Casey’s General Store

Heading back to Oklahoma on the highway near here, I decided to get off the highway a tad early and see if I could find a cheaper gas station. My thought being the next big stop would be charging a little more for the convenience. For not being seen from the highway (3 miles or so), their prices are ridiculous.
Additionally, the service, pump and register, were super slow. The gas flowed out at half the speed it does at most other places and they didn’t call a second cashier until there were seven people in line.
The water I purchased was steeply priced, the cheapest water being $ 1, and all the snacks of any sort were marked up 50% of what most stores charge. Some of their store looked like it needed some elbow grease and things needed put away.
I wish I had just gone on down the highway to a different convenient store that may have been a little more convenient.

Service is good at this location.
Gas prices are usually comparable.
They have made improvements in their food products, especially donuts-​pastries. The display case was not kept up before, however it has been updated and they keep the items fresh now. Much better.

Very clean, they redid their donut thing about a year ago so you can get fresh donuts in the morning. They sell pizzas later that are good too, little greasy but good. Gas is very comparable in price if not a little bit less than most places in this area. Staff is very friendly and quick to get everyone taken care of. It’s also open 24 hours (not that I’m usually out that late). They also keep several coffees and keep them fresh.
I’m glad to have this place not far from where I live.
