Homewood Suites

We have stayed here three times while visiting family. We had our 4 month old with us this past time and there was a crib set up in the room waiting for her. The staff is so kind and helpful. The breakfast was great! It’s not your typical free hotel breakfast, they made a different breakfast casserole every morning. The rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable, and it’s quiet. We always enjoy our visit!

Holiday traveling stopped here on a whim, looking for a room that was big enough for two adults and three kids.
The room was amazing, we upgraded to the suite that have a separate room for the living area and bedroom and it was well worth the $ 10. We had a separate refrigerator microwave and full sink to wash dishes, so very family friendly. The great thing was it didn’t look like a family hotel, though it was decorated like a higher end hotel. (this where the Hilton touches shined through).
I would definitely stay again.
They also have a complimentary breakfast & it was quite upgraded in look & taste compared to others in the same price point.

The customer service is top notch. Kimra was great. Our room sadly smelled of cigarette smoke. The room number signs have a non smoking symbol on them but the last 4 rooms on the 4^th floor west wing do not (one of which was our room), even though my email stated it was non smoking and the staff assured us it is indeed non smoking. They brought up a spray and a machine that did almost nothing but the staff was friendly and tried to help. The hotel was completely booked so we could not be moved. Upon checking in Kimra asked us what brought us to Joplin and when writing us an apology card for the inconvenience she was specific and remembered us which was a nice touch.
Other than the smokey smell the room was amazing. First time staying at a home wood suite; full size refrigerator, dishwasher, and mini stove, very cozy and nice. The weeknight dinner was Oktoberfest themed. I’m not a huge fan of sauerkraut but the cheddar potato soup was amazing. You can call ahead of time and check the menu. Budlight, a craft pumpkin beer from St. Louis and wine were also included. Overall a good experience and will give homewood suites another shot for a better smelling room.

Wonderful hotel! This place was so clean, beautiful rooms and wonderful staff. Amazing for the price. Highly recommend especially with kids.

We found this place on «hotels​.com», saw the reviews and booked our room. It is great, we are thinking of maybe staying an extra day because we’re so comfortable here!

The staff was super-​friendly and the suite was clean and spacious, with a dishwasher, plates and silverware, a full-​size refrigerator, etc. No bathtub but a spacious shower which was nice for a change. Breakfast was very good and also had super-​attentive staff.

We had a GREAT experience at Homewood Suites by Hilton. We have been in lots of hotel rooms lately (wedding, honeymoon, and the holidays) so believe me when I say we were SICK of the «hotel experience» — and it was Christmas Day to boot. Homewood Suites exceeded our expectations of what a nice hotel stay could be at a reasonable price. The staff was courteous and helpful, not always a given considering it was a holiday and they could have been grumpy to get home to their families. The room was nice and open, had a full kitchenette that was useful since we had groceries to store. The hotel had a nice modern décor, and the rooms were tastefully done. For the added bonus of a free happy hour and dessert, kitchenette, and a comfortable bed — all at almost the exact price of a regular hotel room. We will have lots of travels through Joplin area over the years (midway on the drive btw TX and IN) and we now know where we will be booking for our stay overs. I also LOVED the shampoo and conditioner, wish I had taken more of them!

This place was awesome. Super clean, comfy and the most friendly staff.
The food is above what you would expect from a hotel, nothing amazing but it was all edible.
The people working there are what makes this place shine! They have movies to borrow while you are there, coloring books and crayons! To be honest it was as if the staff truly cared if you were «at home»

Very new place and friendly staff to boot. Reasonable prices for suites with cooktops and full size fridges. Food for breakfast and dinner could be a touch better but still above expectations.
