I heard this salon was closing, but I’m not sure if that was a rumor. Anyway, I was not too impressed with it. The Aveda salons I’ve visited in other areas were of a much higher quality than this small strip mall salon, although the prices were nearly identical. The young stylist who cut my hair did an ok job but she made me feel rather nervous as she kept thinning my short hair over and over and then commenting, «oh I didn’t think it would look quite like this», as if I was her experiment. Not the most confidence-​inspiring and I never went back (of course). I actually asked about products and she had no suggestions at all; quite the opposite of most pros! Not what I expected from an Aveda salon.
