was in tonight for dinner and walked out before we got our food. was sitting where we could see into the kitchen, when the cook who was wearing no gloves reached up rubbed his nose and then started touching our food with out washing his hands. will not being going back.

I don’t understand the cult following of Stogey’s Coney Island. It’s not bad by any means, I’ve had a coney once, and a cheeseburger there a couple of times, and the food was okay. But I wouldn’t even call it «really good». If you are a big fan of diner burgers and coneys and suzy q’s you might really love it but for me it was just another little burger joint. Bonus points that it’s locally owned and the interior is really clean, even though the décor’s quite dated. This place is delightfully non-​pretentious and seems to appeal to old-​timers and blue collar types, so it might be just the ticket for dear old uncle Joe’s birthday dinner or something like that.
