Tartan Traders

I didn’t find this «antique and or thrift» store to be anything spectacular. If I are into older toys then this is for you. I just thought it was just junk.

I was excited to spot a new flea market/​antique shop in the old Bicycle Specialist location on Hodgdon Lane (near Roper Kia and across from North Park Mall). It’s owned by a Scottish fellow and his wife, so they went with a really fun Scottish theme & tartan everywhere… although small, it’s definitely a cheerier version of the standard antique mall with dreary stalls. Debra is incredibly friendly and welcoming! On my visit, I only found a few little treasures I couldn’t leave without, but they are still in the early days and adding new vendors. Of course prices and items varied by stall, but the quality was great overall (so much neat stuff!) and prices seemed fair, especially on home furnishings. I will definitely add Tartan Traders to my rotation for secondhand shopping trips!
