Not the best location I’ve ever been to but considering the other fast food joints nearby, they’re the better choice. They’re 24 hours and they’re probably the best one in Joplin. I rarely have issues and my food is hot and fast. The reason I gave 4 stars is because my dine-in experiences have not been the best. Drive-thru seems to be their strong suit.

I stop by this Wendy’s occasionally because I work nearby. There’s usually a small issue every time I order,(out of potatoes, moldy salad, over-salted fries, etc.) but nothing I felt like I needed to publicly comment about until last night. It was about 1am and I was at the Drive-Thru. I asked if they had any gluten-free options, to which I was told, «I only have a nutrition/calorie count chart next to me, it doesn’t say if anything is gluten free.» To which, I replied with a stretched out«Okaaaay???» And I got complete silence for the next 3 minutes while I stared at the board. Wow. How am I supposed to know what to order? I understand if you are unable to find out but at least say«sorry» or something that doesn’t make it feel like I’m at fault for asking. They made no effort to look for another chart, either. Lame and unprofessional. :P

Discriminatory staff and clients. Staff skipped over clients obviously in line. We were passing through on to Kansas city, I don’t know if it’s the area, but it was uncomfortable being a person of color in this restaurant. Worst Wendy’s!

A couple of friends and I stopped in here on our way from Tulsa to St. Louis. I was exhausted from hours spent driving the most boring stretch of I-44 known to man. As such it took me a while to decide what I wanted to eat even once I got up to the counter. The woman at the register was very patient with me despite this and the fact I made multiple changes to my order. My food was prepared hot and fresh. It tasted great. And we were in our way without problems.
