Passing through on business. I lucked out! Great little Café breakfast all day. Had the Denver omelette, it was huge with hash Browns and toast, $ 10 bucks, really good. Kind of classic place you want to stay for a while and relax. Staff great. Definitely be back. Thanks

If you’ve never heard of it neither had we. While visiting Port Angeles for an entire month we took a drive as usual to check out the sites. We were starving and stumbled upon this little gem! OMG! We went 3 times total during our visit. It was so yummy! Breakfast is beyond anything! I had their burrito and it was good. I also had a really good BLT! Overall it was good but the owner was working her tail of while smiling and knew almost every one who walked in! Super friendly and the soft serve ice cream blackberry cone was incredible! Oh and you can’t beat the t-shirts you can buy! A MUST go to!

We stopped on the way to Cape Flattery after seeing the reviews on Unilocal. The fried chicken salad pic hooked me, I ordered, and it was delicious!!! Sesame seed dressing was great too. Sooo much salad! All dark leafy greens! Boyfriend ordered double cheeseburger w sweet potatoes which I nibbled on. Very kind and sweet waitress, the place had charm, and we would definitely come back!

Pros — Open relatively late — Decently diverse menu for a small-town diner — Friendly service — Portion sizes are mostly generous — Got a table immediately. Cons — Prices are a little high — My blackberry cobbler tasted too much like sweet Smucker’s jam + bread. Not enough fruit or pastry texture. — My sister’s omelette was too cheesy.

we were prepared to be overwhelmed with the country café experience and found it to be homey and outgoing but the food, to be truthful, was quite average. With one exception – when I looked at the soup board the had Egg Flower Soup! I was blown away by the exceptional taste of the soup and looked forward to my fried shrimp. Sadly, they brought 4 butterflied shrimp in a mix with about 25 salad-sized shrimp. All breaded and fried but inconsistent to distraction. We took home a blackberry peach crumble pie. The peaches were fantastic but the blackberries had larger than normal seeds to navigate around. And I thought the dish had a bitter aftertaste. Next time we camp at Crescent Beach we will return here, but maybe study the menu a little closer.

Very cute lil café with good service! The waitress joked with us a lot and was very personable — I like that! We all got burgers and they were great! Perfect size and great taste! The blackberry vinaigrette dressing was good but def vinaigrette! The deserts — crumble was VERY sweet — I needed the ice cream with it then it was delicious! Dad liked the blackberry pie! My favorite was the blackberry lemonade! Big hit with us! I liked the service and I do recommend the burgers!

My boyfriend and I stopped here after camping at the Elwah campground and were headed to La Push. There were just a few places to choose from in that area. The place was fairly busy for a Sunday night. Unfortunately they were understaffed and only had one waitress. She was really nice and upbeat but she was in the weeds big time! It took a while to get anything done because of this. Because of this I am giving it less stars! You need proper staffing to run a restaurant! She did the best she could for what the situation was! If anything I felt bad for her having been a waitress myself before. We both got coffee and chocolate milk which was delicious. I got the fried chicken salad which was pretty basic and fresh. My boyfriend got the smokehouse burger and he said it was«bomb»(which is a good thing!) The food was fresh and hit the spot but nothing really original or super flavorful. Your normal mom and pop restaurant style. It was clean enough but had some tacky décor. Fake flowers all over the place! I’d go back again and maybe try a burger!

I totally loved my experience here. If you’re at Lake Crescent, I highly recommend stopping here for dinner. It is everything I imagine a diner experience to be like. I often see a lot of diners and cafes along rural areas and wondered how the food is like at these restaurants. At this place, it was awesome. They have a lot of corky and fun decorations inside. You can even buy a t-shirt with their restaurant name stamped across. Our waitress was really nice. I ordered the chicken salad, which I found absolutely delightful and delicious. The chicken was very flavorful because they had added some herbs. I didn’t even have to use their dressing because everything was seasoned enough. My husband got the blackberry bbq burger. This tasted pretty good too. Their tatter tots were well seasoned and crispy. Everything here is about $ 12-$ 15. Their pies and desserts look pretty good but didn’t dare to order it because I had already eaten so much already.

Food was decent. Grilled chicken salad uses vacuum sealed sliced chicken breast(imo). The biscuits with gravy are a Do Not Buy; the gravy looks like white goop and is beyond flavorless with a hint of chalk dust. The biscuits are not as good as pillsbury frozen biscuit dough in a can. The pies are good if you like pies but I am not a fan. Staff is very friendly but food takes a long time to come out.

Great diner. Friendly atmosphere. Large booths and a bar in front of the grill. Excellent food. the 20oz sasquatch burger on an 8″ bun is $ 27. Coffee is not their specialty.

Delicious fresh blackberries! Does it get any better? We stopped here on our way home from a camping trip and boy what a treat it was! The food is delicious and our waitress was such a sweetheart. Also loved taking photos with Sasquatch :). Highly recommend! The only thing I would say is that my crêpe was relatively thick for a crêpe but still delicious and packed full of blackberries :)

I was on a trip to the Washington coast over the 4th of July weekend and had heard of this little café on highway 112 past Port Angeles that had lots of homemade goodness. I just knew I was going to have to stop and give it a try. The Blackberry Café is a tiny little place, with the owner working up front and a cook in the back and only about ten tables and a few stools at the counter for seating. When I stopped in late in there was a small group at two tables and a few old codgers up at the counter — all obviously locals. I was hungry for breakfast so ordered the pancakes and bacon with fried eggs. My friend ordered the same pancakes only with fresh blackberries cooked inside. The service was quick, the coffee hot and the lady running the place was full of energy and seemed to be enjoying herself as she moved between the groups inside. It may not be readily apparent but my pancakes when they arrived a few minutes later were huge, filling up my plate and practically hanging off the sides! They were well cooked and tasty but my friends blackberry ones looked much better. The eggs were cooked just the way I like, over medium and the bacon was thick and tasty too. Back in the kitchen we kept hearing loud pounding noises while we ate, our proprietress informed us that they were making chicken fried steak,(«none of that frozen shit for us») from scratch for dinner later on. I thought it was a pity that by then I’d be out at the beach camping out not and not in a position to avail myself of such a dinner. Instead I knew I’d be eating backpack food out of a bag. With breakfast done and extra cups of coffee drank we left the Blackberry Café and continued on our way. If I’m ever back in the area I’ll be sure to stop by and try out a few more items on the menu. Who knows, maybe I’ll be lucky enough to show up for some chicken fried steak!

It was 10 o’clock in the morning, but that wasn’t going to stop me. I had heard about their Blackberry pie from the concierge at our hotel(review of Olympic Lodge coming soon). «It’s absolutely delicious, I highly recommend going to Joyce after visiting Salt Creek… the town is small and there’s nothing else there, but just give it a chance.» So we pulled up to the Blackberry Café, its windows lined with ornate tea pots and faux roses, we parked and sat ourselves at a booth. Sipped coffee and I did it. I ordered a slice of pie and it was… divine. And by divine I mean… I couldn’t help but laugh to myself… how could some regular old blackberry pie be THIS good? The berries are wild and freshly-picked and the pie. it literally stuffed with them, and the thick juices spilling out its sides. Ok… why didn’t I get one to-go? And why, WHY is this so far from my house?! (Picture included)
