Just saw this place from the road and decided to give it a try. Glad we did. Great size portions and great taste. Service was awesome. Homemade by the owner makes this place a gem for the locals in the area.

The staff is so friendly here and helpful! I bought my first Corkys flip flops and heels here and fell in love with them! They are not only unique in design but also comfortable! They also have a great selection of beautiful pieces of jewelry! A great find!

I learned of a new apparel called Sassie Sleeves love them! Such a beautiful store and gorgeous jewelry. I will come back up for more Sassie Sleeves. Its not very often you can find an accessory like Sassie Sleeves that I can wear under my sleeveless tops and dresses. Thank you Mountain Gypsy nothing like this added accessory any where else…

A beautiful little shop with something beautiful in every direction you look. Clothing, purses, shoes and jewelry! The sales lady that helped us was very helpful and friendly. You will not be disappointed.

I admit I was attracted to this store by their name. Sounds magical. I expected there to be tapestries hanging from the walls, like I would be transported through time into a caravan traveling across the desert. No such thing.
The clothing section looked like a resale shop for middle aged women, or psychics. The only thing that interested me was the jewelry. They have a lot of beautiful gemstone jewelry. A lot of people do not appreciate any gemstones besides the diamond. They had everything from citrine to mystic topaz. Some really beautiful pieces for reasonable prices. If you are in the area stop by to check out the jewelry!

I enjoy this store. They have some very unique items. The shoes especially get me thinking about how I can look cool in them. Bought a great pair for my mom for her birthday (very hip, trendy).
The owner is VERY friendly. My teenage daughter loves all the rings she offers.
Definitely worth a stop by while in Julian.

I AM MAD AT YOU MOUNTAIN GYPSY.
The most gypsy item this place had was a .99 store thin aluminum pressed coin sash hanging on the wall. You only need to come here if you’re looking for any of the following; repriced Roamans mail-​order catalogue button down clearance tunics, those slice of life greeting cards with the old woman holding a coffee with her nipples touching her toes or some gems that I actually overheard, were ordered from an online source in bulk and marked WAY UP.
