J & R Automotive was recommended to me by a friend. I took my truck there this morning (first visit) unsure of what was wrong with my truck or what would need to be repaired. My truck was diagnosed as needing a starter and having a vacuum leak. Within 70 minutes the truck was repaired and I was on my way! I had thought I might have to spend money on a rental for the day, but the team at J & R were so thorough there was no need. The only down side was that there is no waiting room, so my service dog and I sat in the grass while we waited. The owner and at least one other mechanic are veterans, so I felt good about that, and I greatly appreciated being accepted without side glances while wearing a firearm open carry. The conversation even turned to hunting, so I felt at home. These are good people, caring mechanics, with fast service and good prices. I will definitely use J & R Automotive for my truck’s mechanical issues!
