Variety of seating within. Tables in front room as well as two private rooms in back plus a room with books on several shelves. I had caramel brulee coffee extra hot and was awesome! Service was good. A few gluten free muffins and the sort would welcome me more often though.

Very pleasant experience. The chai was perfectly hot and spiced just right, and their homemade cinnamon rolls were delicious– like best I’ve ever had! This city has really needed a sweet little place like this. Will definitely return :)

I took my girlfriend here last week (Nov.2015) and it was very delicious. The coffee was good, not overly expensive, but well worth the price. We sat by the fireplace in back and it was clean and cozy. I am going back again and so is she.

I’ve had *okay* food at Max Porter’s but my feelings towards this café are sour due to the extremely poor customer service. I know I’m not going to get Marche caliber service, but I haven’t had one transaction here that resembled anything pleasant. I’m always spoken to in a snarky tone, and more often than not, they get my order wrong and then blame me saying that I didn’t order it the way I said I did. I think they probably get away with this service due to poor lunch choices in JC but the whole establishment seems to need a serious attitude adjustment.

They really know how to make good coffee! The baked goods are yummy (even though they are sometimes still a bit frozen), and the atmosphere is laid-​back and comfortable. My 6-​year-​old LOVES their hot chocolate. Always a good treat!

Food and coffee are great. It is not a chain coffee place where they treat you like a number. You order your coffee have a seat and they bring you the order.

So I really love the food, drinks and atmosphere, but sadly I cannot give it 5 stars. Simply because of the service. I too have come here for several years being as it’s the only decent place in Junction City to get some lunch and on so many occasions have been sad with how I’ve been treated. The girls really act like they don’t want you in there, and seem like they really do not like their jobs, with the exception of one girl who is a breath of fresh air, I will come back but I hope Max Porters owners actually read this and solve the problems.

This is the cutest coffee shop in Oregon. Tall ceilings, hardwood floors, cozy seating, and the coffee is fine. Great destination for a small road trip.

On our way to wine tasting and Unilocaled upon this quaint place. The space was warm and inviting. Sandwiches were fab! Killer Dave’s sandwich hit the spot. Coffee was a good roast. Great find! Definitely pop in for a bite of goodness and warmth. Nice workers as well.

Love, love, love this place!!! Laid back, sit in a nice little area or people watch by sitting outside. This place is perfect for coffee, wine, desserts and small meals.

Good cup of joe but I really like their food choices. Yummy pastries and sandwiches. I recommend the sweet chili chicken sandwich.
