This place is awful. It smells bad, there’s an employee with scabs all over their hands that doesn’t wear gloves when they touch the dough, my orders are never correct. We waited 35 minutes for a medium cheese pizza today. Come on. I work in food service and I know kinks happen and can be smoothed out. We are always willing to give a place a chance to change our minds, but this is our last visit here until we see an announcement that it’s under new management or something. We don’t complain and try to get free food out of the place, we’ve just hoped that next time it’ll be better and it sadly never is. Five visits now and they’ve all been just… bad, no other way to put it. Rant over, convinced there are no great pizza places in JC.

My husband and I order from here quite often, most of the time the order is delivered way under the estimated delivery time. Once we were quoted a long time, the pizza came sooner than expected, and the manager gave us a coupon for our long wait. The pizza is always fresh, and the wings have perfect flavor. We have never had an unsatisfactory experience with this Papa Johns location.

So we decided to order online. No problem. we ordered at 7:30pm and requested pickup by 8:30pm. Site wouldnt let us do that… so we called the store and they said that we can pick up by 8:45pm. 1 hour and 15 minutes to make and bake a pizza and not have to deliver?! Hmmm. After i got there(couldnt barely find the place… located in a whole in the wall mini strip mall sunk back away from the road. Now to the inside… clean and«looked» organized… far from organized. Two employees, a team leader and a manager who looked like she barely graduated high school. The team leader couldnt focus on the register and the tons of orders needing to be filled. Took her 3 minutes to find my order… she found it and states my order has been ready for a while! Really… you guys told me 1.25hrs on the phone… all she says was sorry for that. The order… didnt get my 2 liter but got charged… didnt get my extra sauces but got charged… didnt get my extra peppers but got charged. Then when i was about to dispute the order the manager decides to start a confrontation with one of the workers who apparently clocked out at 9pm as this was the end of his shift… she said hell no… i didnt tell you you could clock out… clock back in and get back to work… there’s $h1t that needs to get done… he refuses… she gets even louder. The other employee is now being told by the team leader that he will have to pick up the slack from the other employee and instead of complying… he backs up… crosses his arms and stands there and does nothing… in the meantime… the HS graduate manager looses it and tosses some pizza trays on the counter. The team leader assures me this is not normal that they average a $ 1,500 night but tonight was a $ 5000 night… too busy and not enough workers. Summary: poor location, poor workmanship, poor management, poorly trained staff, poor food preparation methods and poor accuracy on orders. Advice…go to grocery store… get a couple frozen pizzas, heat up and enjoy… benefits equal no hassle, no two hour wait, no annoying interactions with staff and cheaper priced.

I called to place an order for delivery and was told my total was $ 24, I couldn’t find my card so I called back 10 minutes later and placed the same order and the price was going to be $ 35 this time. It blows my mind that prices seem to vary depending on which employee I speak to. I ended up ordering on the app, adding extras to the same order and it was still cheaper than told by both team members on the phone.

I ordered a large pizza and two sets of wings at 7:07 pm. They were delivered at 9:01 pm after several phone conversations with two members of the staff there. It was a new driver, they got lost, delivered the wrong thing to the wrong address, our pizza had been left at the store… Yadda yadda. The pizza was almost two hours late. It was cold and disgusting. We were made to feel like it was our fault. The store manager, Cynthia, was extremely rude and condescending. This was not the first time this location completely screwed up an order for us. THAT was our fault for giving them the benefit of the doubt. I called corporate I was so livid. I doubt anything will come of it. Order at your own risk.

Horrible. They said thirty minutes it took an hour. The pizza was lukewarm and they didn’t even have crushed red peppers. $ 20 for a MEDIUM crappy, cold pizza.

Pizza is OK, and I always liked the garlic sauce. But their delivery is terrible. When I did an on-line order it told me 30 minutes. An hour later I called the store and they said they were short handed. Got the pizza 1.75 hours after ordering. Never even received an apology. Also they used to put in 2 large peppercinis in with the pizza, now they put in 1 very small one. Wish there was an old pizzeria style place in JC

I just received my delivery pizza at my hotel. The pizza dough is only half way cooked. It is literally raw dough half way through. Yuck! $ 20 down the tube for a medium pizza…

The pizza is really good and priced pretty decent. I say its the best pizza in town. The bread sticks are a little dissapointing but the garlic butter sauce that goes with it totally makes it up. My man says the buffalo wings are tasty. The one big downside is the delivery. It takes an hour to deliver pizza, its sad. But its still my favorite pizza place!
