Scatter Joy Tea Room & Eatery

Three friends and I recently went to Scatter Joy for High Tea. The service was great and very pleasant, the selection of teas is varied and numerous and the new owner, Carrie, serves a really nice assortment of sandwiches, savories and sweets. There was plenty to eat and we enjoyed being able to relax and visit while we ate. The price of High Tea here seems reasonable. And the gift store has interesting gifts and antiques to browse through. We really enjoyed High Tea at Scatter Joy. I highly recommend it. You do need to make reservations for High Tea. If you are going for lunch, you need not make reservations. I hope to go back here soon.

It is SUCH a treat to go into Scatter Joy and have High Tea! Great food and wonderful tea coupled with such a sweet atmosphere really make this place special! Highly recommended!

I love High Tea!
I had been looking for a place that does High Tea often, and at a affordable price since most places will charge upwards of $ 25 for High Tea service.
I was not disappointed once by the service and selection at Scatter Joy.
We each got a pot of tea and shared accordingly. Everything we eat was amazing and explained thoroughly.
My friends and I decided we are going to try and make a bi-​monthly affair out of it.
I highly recommend the Caramel Crème Brûlée tea.

A Unilocal friend just reminded me that I had not yet reviewed Scatter Joy, and I love this place! My mother in law and I went in here for a late Mother’s Day tea (I’d been out of the country). We had a Groupon for the teas, and we got sooo much food, we couldn’t even eat it all, and for a very good price too. Sandwiches, sweets, pastries, wow!
Loved the tea too, we had a LOT of tea, and they have great sweet, fruity, vanilla-​y combinations. I think we went through 3 or 4 pots, just the two of us. The service was really friendly too, and I found a cute silver piece in the shop on my way out. If you want to come in for an Afternoon/​High Tea though, be sure to make a reservation 24 hours ahead of time. For lunch they just do walk-​ins.

Wonderful selection of teas and light lunches. We did high tea here and fell in love with the crème brûlée tea and the finger sandwiches. It was such a fun place to sit and enjoy good conversation in a quaint environment. Everyone that works here is so sweet and eager to please. I’m currently planning a baby shower here and am receiving the best customer service! If you live near JC it’s a great place to spend a few hours, and if you don’t live near JC it’s worth the drive!

Wonderful selection of teas, the High Tea was a wonderful experience! The service was friendly and knowledgeable, the atmosphere was relaxed, and the food and teas were delicious. Who knew such tiny food could fill you up so much?!

This is the best local business in Junction City, it’s just what our little town needed! An amazing relaxed cozy atmosphere, friendly and fun; we love to enjoy a pot of tea or a scrumptious lunch & delicious treat afterwards. I’m not a big tea drinker, but even their tea is amazing and I love the different tea pots and tea cups that change each time you visit. It’s the kind of place you enjoy with friends &/​or family.
Don’t miss out on this wonderful little shop, you will feel the joy!

We can’t say enough good things about this place! It’s a very warm and welcoming place, mostly due to the owner, Reba. A nice variety of gifts & antiques make for a nice atmosphere. The teas are wonderfully tasty, and the food is exquisite! We’ve been there for sweet tea and high tea, and we’ll keep going back. They were very accomodating to our group for high tea with 1 vegan, 1 vegetarian and one peanut allergy. They didn’t miss a beat and everything was delicious! Go and support a wonderful local busines!
